I didn't see a poll on this. Sounded to me like this could be pretty divided right now. So let's hear it!

I'll take Denver. Baltimore is unbeaten but their offense flat out stinks. I think Denver could move the ball on them and Shanny won't piss away the wins like marty does whent hey turn to Martyball....he couldn't contain himself when they got up 13-7...it was like a blowout to him...insult the Ravens by taking a safety?!

Den's O has looked pathetic in 2 of 3 games. A totally disinterested and beat up NE team is the only time this O has even had a pulse.

Only Jax i splaying like a complete team on both sides of the ball. Yes, they lost in Indie. Like I said, they looked betterin their losses than Indie did in their wins.

Should be a great game -- for the second straight week, the Ravens get the AFC West's best with two full weeks to prepare.For whatever reason, the Ravens under Billick have owned Shanahan's Broncos. Last year Shanny finally beat Billick for the first time; the 9-3 Broncos beat the 4-8 Ravens, winning 12-10 at home after Boller turned the ball over three times, including two in the red zone.My experience has been that the Broncos' cut-blocking system is ineffective vs. the Ravens, whose defensive philosophy is based on the players retaining their footing at all costs. I think the Ravens will be effective in stopping the Broncos' run, which puts the game in Plummer's hands vs. the Ravens tough D.

They missed the playoffs last year. They've beaten the two worst teams in the league this year, and then lost their 3rd game.

I answered Ravens, but I wasn't very satisfied with my pick. There's no clear answer, or even clear three answers.

They beat the Ravens for 3 3/4 quarters. They were the better team on the field. Unfortunately their coach made some poor decisions, their offense failed to capitolize on mistakes, and their defense came up short one time. They are a better team than the Ravens. Consequently I can see how people would vote for them. If they were to play the Ravens 10 times I'd put them winning 7 of those 10.At this point I think the Colts are still the best team around. I don't think they'll be the best team by the end of the year, though.

Yes they are. However I also think Pittsburgh, Denver, and San Diego are less impressive than last year. Jacksonville is more impressive this year than last but I never thought they were one of the top 5 AFC teams last year.

I still like the Colts. The fact that they can go out and drive it down the field and score that late in the game, on the road, with that kind of a momentum shift is something special. Their D is lacking as far as giving up yardage, but has come up with big plays game after game. Plus they have been without some key defensive players in all of their games. Mainly Cory Simon, who should really boost their run defense when he gets back.

Colts are the class of the AFC still. I won't be impressed with Balt until they beat the Bengals and the Steelers, at least once each. I don't think they can. I think that the Steelers and the Bengals are both better in terms of talent and IMHO it will show in the up-coming division match-ups.

Oh and the Patriots are still pretty good. Their coaching alone makes them a top team in the AFC.

They wouldn't be my pick either, but I can see the logic. A lot of people here are picking Baltimore, but anyone who watched the game saw how dominant San Diego was over them in pretty much every aspect of that game except the final score.

I voted New England too. They look like the most complete team right now.

Obviously I'd like to vote for the Chargers, but all the problems on D are really starting to pile up. This next 4 weeks should be very telling for them.

I'd have voted for the Broncos but Jake looks way too shaky to me right now, they're really playing to not lose games as a result and you need to have that killer instinct to be the best.

Why not the Colts? The defense .... she stinks!

All four of those teams are better than anything in the NFC. That's right, I said anything in the NFC.

Still , though Peyton has taken his game to another level. I can tell you with a straight face that I think what we're seeing from Peyton right now is a level of QB play that rivals any QB at any time. His command of the game is simply phenomenal to watch. I still think that that team is living on borrowed time come the playoffs with that defense.

If the Colt's defense doesn't change drastically for the better I think at least the Pats, Chargers and Chiefs would beat them if they met in the playoffs. Denver too if Plummer (or Cutler) can get it together. Maybe the Jags if they have a good Jags day instead of a bad Jags day (any team more inconsistent than them right now?).

I think the proven vet would be an improvement. I know Huard is looking good right now, but we've seen the Billy Volek show before and I think we're seeing it again here. The real story is that the Chief's offensive line is returning to form via player additions and improving health. I think Green behind that line will be a step up.
