Best cartoon TV show to watch with your kids (1 Viewer)

I'm showing my age, but both my teenagers now:
Scooby Do
Bugs Bunny
Tom & Jerry
Pink Panther
Flintstones
Jetsons
Hanna and all Hanna Barbera

That is not showing your age.... Most of those TV shows were when my dad was a young kid and the reason I watched them with my dad is because 30+ years ago he was asking the same question I am now.

Was just going to say Gravity Falls. Good lore.....will keep adults interested.

Rebels is a no brainer if you/your children are Star Wars fans. Maybe the best "Star Wars" that Disney has done.

Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse. It's a movie....but a good one.

My kids really liked Stephen Universe. It was interesting enough.

Absolutely Gravity Falls. Need the kids to be 8+ though to really enjoy it. It's like X files for kids but with great humor.

I enjoyed watching Lego Ninjago with my boys.
Another OG cartoon that's great for kids is Pink Panther. No dialog; the epitome of show don't tell storytelling.

Have watched this a few times with my 12-year old daughter. It is decent for adults and better than most of the shows aimed at her age group.

The Amazing World of Gumball is pretty great. My daughter got me watching this with her when she was younger.

That show is so weird. I like it though.

I have watched this a few times with my daughter too. It is weird but I have caught myself laughing while watching it a few times. It takes a few minutes to settle into the humor but it is funny.

Gravity Falls is an excellent show. My 15 year old introduced me to it, and we have fun watching it together.

Mr. Pickles, however.....

I have seen ~15 episodes of both this and teen titans and they are alright, but I think I have reached my limit.

I don't see myself sitting down and watching every episode in order.

We have watched spider verse and it was great, can't wait for #2 this summer.

I have debated Stephen universe, but your comment does not inspire confidence

Of those not yet listed, the early Woody Woodpeckers. Not the greatest role model for kids, but still pretty damn funny.

Don't watch Teen Titans Go. Pure nonsensical garbage. Teen Titans was pretty good though. That was mid 2000's.

Looney Tunes
Tom and Jerry
Scooby Doo

I grew up with these, though my dad wasn’t much of a cartoon guy. The ones I have shared with my kids:
Ed, Edd n Eddy
Dexter’s Lab
Johnny Bravo
SpongeBob was out of my wheelhouse growing up, as was Fairly Oddparents, but my wife introduced them to our kids.

This thread looks like it is evolving into a "what's your favorite cartoon thread" I am not sure you can still watch half of the cartoons being listed here. My kids are in college now, so we aren't watching many cartoons together these days, but we had a great time watching Avatar, Phineas and Ferb, and some Spongebob together during their cartoon watching era.

I still watch Roadrunner clips with my high school students because of the plethora of great cartoon physics examples to discuss.

I kid... 11 & 15 and both of them loved Gravity Falls.

Finn and Pherb was another popular one when younger.

and hell yeah to Yo Gabba Gabba.
eta: there was a short-lived show called Jacks Big Music Show that had great live guests and was well written for adults although geared for young pre-5yo kids.

Bear in the big blue house (just came available on Disney+)
Litte Bear
If you have preschoolers, Word World I thought was pretty ingenious teaching

Hate most of these newer shows mentioned.

If older Solar Opposites is pretty cool.
Disenchanted for a Simpsons-esk in Medieval times show
