What the hell did I just see?
Was watching Best Damn Sports Show on FSN and Tom Arnold, (former host) was invited on the show to promote his book.
I guess the plan was to talk about how Arnold sold out his co-hosts, so they showed some quotes from the book.
Chris Rose read some quotes about Arnold dissing Rob Dibble and Rodney Peete and it was REALLY awkward (to say the least).
THEN Rose implied that he wrote bad #### about Strahan, who was also on the show replacing John Salley. He didn't really get into particulars on the air, but mentioned that he had Tiki Barber quotes bad-mouthing Strahan.
Strahan didn't seem to mind at first, but then during the Final segment he told Arnold in a calm voice that he didn't appreciate it, and why his comments about all of them were "out of line" and whatnot.
Then their voices escelated a bit and suddenly they swung at each other.
Dibble and Peete seperated them like security guards.
Chris Rose just sat there and didnt know what to do.
It all looked real until the camera man ran over to Strahan and he was hunched over (after being held down by Dibble) and he looked like he was in pain, and sounded a little like he was crying....
All in all the show was really awkward, and I kept asking myself why they invited him to be in such an awkward situation.... but it all seemed real.
Was it really?
Must see for Tivo owners.
