Yep.

From the pictures I had a hard time believing he was 5'6".  The ref could have thrown him out of the ring with one arm.

 
My dad always had a pocket knife on him on the weekends growing up but it was never really my thing. He passed away in January and in cleaning up his house I found a few knives.

1. Not a pocket knife, but a Case XX 223-6.

2. A G96 model 960 rustproof from Japan.

3. One that looks very much like #2 but with no markings on it at all.  

All are sharp and in good shape. Any thoughts or anything I should know about these?

It was always fairly straight forward... there is a point where size matters to the extent that an athletic guy would over match a tiny guy regardless of skill. 

In my mind that was never controversial.

Buddy of mine, 47 years old, a solid 5' 6" weighing in at about 140. He once held two of the three national belts for kick boxing in his weight class. He now teaches mutliple disciplines in kick boxing. I would argue that not only would you lose, but I would put money down that you never get in a single good shot on that guy. You saying you could kick the crap out of a professional fighter is like saying you could outbrew a master brewer because you really like beer.

Nobody in that thread ever tried to tell me about a buddy that was an effing GIANT compared to the hypothetical opponent in the thread.

Actually, yes. It comes in handy for rope cutting, small branches, and wire insulation stripping.

I once stumbled upon an EDC subreddit where people were posting photos of their EDCs and noting that it was just for the day because it matched their socks or something. Is it really an EDC if you change it every day to look cool?  I dunno, I backed out of there slowing without bothering to ask...
