Shameless steal, but interesting nonetheless and I have to admit looking at it initially I don't see a clear favorite. The only thing I do think is that Ronnie/Ricky doesn't belong on that list whatsoever but I included them just because they were on the original poll. So, I know I can look at the NFL.com results but I wanted to see if the SP results would be similar or different.

Of note, I would have probably also included Turner/Norwood and probably T. Jones/Leon instead of the Miami duo, but I will leave as is since that's how it is at NFL.com

This would have been more interesting had you made this poll before last nights game....

Disagree for 2 reasons. One, I don't think DeWill/Stewart would have been considered, to be honest. Secondly, nfl.com didn't have it up that I know of so I would not have had anywhere to steal it from or been smart enough to come up with it myself :goodposting:

In non-ppr scoring per FBG:

CJ3/LenDale are 7th/17th and combine for 342 (tops among the duos above)

DeWill/LenDale are 1st/24th and combine for 336 and are right behind the 2 above

Other honorable mentions:

MJD/Fred Taylor

Bush/P. Thomas

Portis/Betts

Serious knee-jerk on this poll to last night.

If you had to play Deangelo/J Stew together all year you probably wouldn't have made the playoffs. C Johnson/Lendale have been better and more consistent this year.

Titans - CJ/LW are what Tiki and Ron should have been

Panthers - not as good as last night's game indicates, but darn good

Giants - great trio

Chargers - LT and Sproles, still great and DS finally getting respect

Vikings - best back in the game and an above average backup

I had both pairs, and started C Johnson/Lendale most of the time, JStew a few times (until he was hurt).DeAngelo is a johnny come lately, and might have salvaged some seasons, but did not do ANYTHING the first half of the season.

Guess it depends on what you need....home runs or consistency, but consistency is what I shoot for (I don't mind the home runs though...)

If not for injury, I think MBIII and Felix Jones would have had to be considered. The Rook was averaging 9 ypc when he went down and ALWAYS turned the corner!

In terms of real NFL purposes, its probably the Patriots group of Kevin Faulk, Sammy Morris, etc. You wouldn't notice it from a fantasy point-of-view, but the Patriots have basically been able to run the ball...as a team...on everyone. They even had a lot of success running the ball against the Steelers defense. Faulk averaged 12.2 yards per carry and Morris had 4.5 yards per carry against the vaunted #1 defense of Pittsburgh. They lost because they turned it over 5 times.
