Best Song Intro (1 Viewer)

the trooper - lead / rhythm guitar

show no mercy - drums

Hells Bells by AC/DC.

I was already a fan of AC/DC before Back in Black was released. When Bon Scott (their original singer) died, all the fans thought the band was done. How could Bon be replaced? So us AC/DC fans buy the Back in Black lp when it comes out. We see the the black cover and the title: we already know this is a cool tribute to Bon.

Then we put the needle down and we hear the ominous bell at the beginning of Hells Bells...wow, what an amazing tribute!!! But it gets better, the opening guitar riff is an instant classic. Then we hear the new singer and he kicks serious ###. He is not Bon, but he has his own style.

This is why this is the best song intro ever. The band actually put a lot of thought and caring into this opener.

By the way, the rest of the album was great also.

aces high - churchill's speech
:goodposting: "We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France. We shall fight on the seas and oceans. We shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air. We shall defend our island whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches. We shall fight on the landing grounds. We shall fight in the fields and in the streets. We shall fight in the hills. We shall never surrender!!!"

A few off the top of my head.

Inside Out by XTC I think

Dr. Feelgood Motley Crue

Damage Inc. Metallica

Well, I had Ozzy's Crazy Train and AC/DC's Thunderstruck to add, but I see I am too late

Oh well, I'll come back with others, once I think of them.

Kinda surprised that there isn't more support for Iron Man. Pretty much anybody between age 15 and 50 knows that song from the 1st 10 seconds.
