Best Sports Day Ever (1 Viewer)

This whole weekend is one of the best. (Although the addition of St Patrick's day boosts today a bunch)

Masters Saturday and Sunday are great.

The opening weekend of NFL is a blast too (Part of me likes it better than Super Bowl Sunday, since SBS only has one game!)

Best sports day? Because of a bunch of awful match-ups with teams nobody watched all year because they don't care about at all? Sure, I guess there's some fleeting excitement to see a few upsets that the world will forget about in a few days.

The tourney starting definitely gives me a semi, and falling on St. Patty's Day is icing on the cake. Also with the time change, first lawn cut of the year and cleaning the pool, this week has been ####### awesome. The Masters is just 3 weeks away. :banned:

My favorite sports day of the year is the Sunday they play the NFL Conference Championships.

I don't watch college basketball except for the tournament and after some crappy team upsets one of my Final 4 and busts my bracket I'll lose interest.

I don't think today is the best day of the year but it is the only big event in the dullest part of the sports year and there will be plenty of exciting finishes. (usually with my pick going down in flames)

I don't know if it's actually the best, but a holiday that makes everyone drink, falling on the first day of the tourney is a pretty good ####### day. I've been on a diet and had one drink in the last few weeks, might indulge a little today.

Given that June will give sports fans the NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Finals, the US Open, the Copa America, and Euro 2016, there could be a top-10 day in there, especially if there is a Game 7 in the NBA Finals, which would occur on Father's Day, with Round 4 of the US Open.

Last year's Derby was fn awesome.

I'm a bit biased because they scheduled my bachelor's party on the same day, but damn... Kentucky Derby, NBA+NHL playoffs, Mayweather-Pacquiao, I think Yankees-Red Sox even played day ball.

That was a good one.

Pretty good day.  The NCAA tournament is just the beginning of an incredible few months of sporting events ahead.  The baseball season will begin, the Masters, and then the Stanley Cup Playoffs on the horizon.  Plus spring is here, followed by summer.  Pretty hard to beat that.
