  • Minnesota 14-2 PF 423 PA 301 PD 122 W9

I’m going Baltimore now. They’re peaking and probably have the most complete team (now that their defense is fixed). Biggest question mark for me is probably Tucker.

This gets more interesting every week
If Detroit didn't have the injuries on defense they have they would be my clear choice for best team
But their injuries muddle my opinion somewhat
Hard to discount The Chiefs as their offense is playing better lately and their defense is solid
Throw out this week for them with the players who will be rested
Like The K.C. offense Baltimore's defense has played better lately so they're in the mix
Minnesota may be the most unassuming 14-2 team I've ever seen
They just keep winning as The Sam Story plays out
The playoffs look very interesting this year but The NFC playoffs should be crazy
Detroit or Minnesota will be the #5 seed!
Buffalo's defense has issues but Josh and the offense can keep up with anyone
The Eagles are closing strong and their defense is playing it's best football of the year right now
But right now with one week to play who is the best team?
On a neutral field in a round robin tournament I think the team that comes out on top is
The Detroit Lions
Bye a feline whisker over everybody else

FYI
Sports Illustrated Top 5 as of today:

1.Bills
2. Lions
3. Eagles
4. Vikings
5. Chiefs

First time I have not voted Lions. Like them or not, what the Chiefs have done is damn impressive. Still like the Lions to come out of the NFC, but they are so banged up that it is hard to see them beating KC.

Lions arent stopping anybody with that defense. Hate to say it cause i would like to see them do well but i could see them losing to any of the other nfc playoff teams

Is Hurts cleared? If so, Eagles.

Sirianni said Hurts is still in the concussion protocol. He added that they want to get him healthy and ready for the playoffs.

But have you watched Tanner McKee?

156.2 passer rating

Brewing QB controversy

The most popular player in Philadelphia Eagles history . . . the backup QB.

PFF Passing Grade
  • 90.1 Tanner McKee
  • 67.0 Jalen Hurts
  • 62.9 Kenny Pickett
Free yourself of being beholden to the $51M man, Nick. Win with McKee and Jeffery will give you a 15-year contract. Think of the assets Howie will get back from dealing Hurts. Dynasty. Legacy. Statue next to Rocky.

Think outside the box. You can do it, Nick.

HNY, Eagles fans. See you in Detroit January 26.

Until KC is knocked off their perch.

They are the best. They just win. They rarely make mistakes and they play “elite level” defense.

And oh Patrick Mahomes. Even gimpy makes plays and leads men.

SI are high.

Chiefs are gonna threepeat. It’s kinda dumb at this point because all they do is win and play top shelf defense in a league that makes it virtually impossible to do so.

Oh and Mahomes……

We already won a Super Bowl with a backup. We want to do something different this time.

Last 4 games played . . .

MIN: 4-0 (SOS .500 for those 4 teams), +44 points, +89 yards
KCC: 4-0 (SOS .500 for those 4 teams), +43 points, +144 yards
WAS: 4-0 (SOS .453 for those 4 teams), +33 points, +404 yards
BAL: 3-1 (SOS .547 for those 4 teams), +62 points, +653 yards
PHI: 3-1 (SOS .500 for those 4 teams), +51 points, +306 yards
BUF: 3-1 (SOS .484 for those 4 teams), +33 points, +38 yards
DET: 3-1 (SOS .531 for those 4 teams), +20 points, +112 yards

It’s the eagles but I’m marginally concerned that Hurts hasn’t cleared protocol yet. I have a feeling if he did they would have played him this week to knock the rust off and probably gone for the record as well. As it stands we’re going into the playoffs against (probably) GB with our QB having basically not played in three weeks.

This is why I went with the Ravens. They’re healthy now and really just a complete different team than they were a month ago.
