Best team to miss the playoffs? (1 Viewer)

So what's the best team you've seen miss the playoffs?

This team (thankfully not mine) missed the playoffs in a redraft I'm in, despite winning this week. After the draft I thought this team had no chance--I guess I was right

12 team league PPR, 6 pt for passing TD. Four teams make playoffs.

Starters:

Tom Brady

Adrian Peterson (MIN)

Jamal Lewis

Randy Moss

Steve Smith (CAR)

Patrick Crayton

Donald Lee (drafted Heap)

Crosby

Seahawks DEF (had MIN most of the year... would have made playoffs had they not dropped MIN)

#1 in points by over 100 points, #1 QB (ever), #1 RB in PPG, #1 WR (on pace for #1 ever).

Unbelievable.

Just knocked this team out in my high stakes PPR league: (last week of season, winner clinches division)

Brees, ADP, Addai, Moss, Holt, Mason, Daniels, Pats D/ST.

League WC (1) based on total points scored, after tonight he is out by 6 points.

i thought i had a good team in a PPR league ...

Rivers

Westbrook/Lewis

Boldin/Curtis/AndreJohnson/SteveSmith/Welker

Watson/Crumpler

ended up in last place in the division :bag: . Rivers killed me without a backup when Delhomme went down.

oh well. always next year

Best team of mine that failed to make the playoffs:

QB-Kitna/Warner

RB-Bush/K.Jones (and had Ronnie Brown early)

WR-R.Moss/Fitz/R.Williams

TE-Witten

K-Gostkowski

While this team of mine actually got IN:

QB-Garrard/Kitna

RB-Gore/S.Young

WR-Boldin/Cotchery/Calvin

TE-Shockey

K-Gostkowski

:bag: Crazy year.

Team in my league

7-7 missed playoffs

Brady

LT / Kevin Jones

Chad / Hous

Davis

Mare

Dallas

Griese

Dunn

Chambers / Horn

Pollard

Wilkins

Minn D

He flip flopped with Dunn & Jones at RB. Same with his D and kicker.

#1 1422 pts for

#1 1330 pts against

In other news I am the 2nd best team in the league ( record wise and 3rd in total points ) and I get the joy of being the wildcard...div leader is the #1 seed /sigh

missed the playoffs in my local PPR league with this team...still boggles my mind how this team missed out...

Eli

Bush

AP

McGahee

Braylon

Colston

TE rotation

I think I might take the prize with this topic.

14 team PPR dynasty, 8 teams make playoffs, I finished as the highest scoring team at 7-7

Hass, Schaub, Campbell

SJax, FWP, Westbrook, Portis

AJ, Driver, Bowe, Fitz, Clayton, Reg Brown

Shockey, Crumpler

Vinatieri, Gould

Bears D

PPR Dynasty:

Hasselbeck, McNabb

Jackson, Gore, Portis, KJ, Ward, Betts, Bell, Irons

Roy, Evans, Boldin, Jennings, SMoss, D-Jax

Was within 6 pts of points leader in league and missed out at 7-7. PPR, variable TD'sof 6, 9, and 12 for WR's, TE's, RB's, 3,6,9 for QB's.

QB- Romo

RB- K. Jones

RB- Portis

WR- A. Johnson

WR- M. Colsten

WR- A. Boldin

TE- Winslow

K- Bironas

D- Pats

Got in playoffs in other 2 leagues which softens the blow, but the funny thing is I missed out by a game in this league and would have had tie breaker in pts. The reason I missed out is because I lost to the worst team twice when he put up his highest totals all year in both outings and the kicker is that I beat him every week head to head except for the weeks I played him that counted (12-2 against the dude)

Finished 7-7 with this team. Still not quite sure how

QB: Romo

RB: SJax, McGahee, T. Jones, Dayne, Fred Taylor

WR: Chad Johnson, Coles, Cotchery, I. Bruce, Roddy White, Hilliard

TE: Shockey

K: Josh Brown

My team was 4th in our league in points (12 team non-PPR) and posted the highest weekly score for round one of the playoffs despite missing them by 1/2 a game.

Garrard

Addai, Edge

Braylon, Coslton, B.Marshall

Winslow

Folk

Indy

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO frustrating....

QB: Derek Anderson

RB: Tomlinson, Barber III, Kevin Jones, Norwood, Dunn

WR: Plaxico, Marshall, Bowe, White, McDonald

TE: Cooley

K: Kris Brown

Def: Minnesota
