Better Start this week... (1 Viewer)

I like comparing these guys. It makes sense to me as they both are in a similar situation this year.

I personally like Bell over Lundy this week.

What do ya'll think?

Although it surely won't help anyone this week, I'm sure the answer will become crystal clear in future weeks.

Fantasy owners have long drooled over new starting running backs who are replacing successful ones.

They seem to assume that it is the system and noy the back which produces the numbers.

Unfortunatley, for every Larry Johnson, there's a Troy Hambrick.

With Denver, this is a solid assumption. Houston... I've never felt Dom was anything special, but we shall see soon.

For week 1, I'm going with Bell.

I was tempted to go with Lundy based on better pedigree and the fact that Gary Kubiak now heads the show in Houston, but as a St. Louisan, I know firsthand that the Rams defensive line has more holes than a sponge. The Eagles have a better defense and Bell runs behind a MUCH better offensive line.

My pick: Mike Bell.

This could sway someone considering lundy one way or the other.

RB Taylor activated for first game

By JOHN McCLAIN

The Texans activated rookie running back Chris Taylor from their practice squad on Saturday.

Taylor will play behind Wali Lundy and Vernand Morency today when the Texans host Philadelphia.

To make room for Taylor, linebacker Roy Manning was placed on waivers.

The decision to activate Taylor means that veteran Ron Dayne, who was signed last week after being waived by Denver, probably will not be activated by the Texans.
