I was ready to burn my UT-Austin diploma when I saw a picture of that little ####er on Twitter today throwing "Hook 'em Horns" with Texas head coach Rick Barnes on the Longhorns' basketball court today. Then I remembered that I don't have one.

 
Can a US lawyer tell me if there is the collateral evidence rule in the States? In Canada, any evidence given at a deposition cannot be used in a collateral proceeding. Based on the commentary, there was a suggestion that admissions in this depo could hurt him in the DUI case.

Also, surely his lawyer objected to the Xanax question or at least limited it to whether he had a scrip at the relevant time (i.e. way before the DUI case).

Bieber is pretty much done anyway. This would have been great if it happened at the peak of his popularity.

I'm really looking forward to his bankruptcy and heroin addiction though. :thumbup:
