Big Ben allegedly urinates on a golf course (1 Viewer)

Multiple reports alleged that Roethlisberger was the guilty wizzer, but the Dublin police issued a denial, claiming another golfer in the party was the real perp. Given that the police arrived after Roethlisberger's group left, how exactly would they know?

Let it go, fatness, let it go...
Hah, good 1 GB...i gotta admit, when I saw this thread title and that it was 2 pages I thought you guys (non-Steeler fans) would be trying to make this into something it's obviously not. But you are much more sane than I gave you credit for...pls accept my apology for doubting you.

1. Can't believe this is any kind of a story. No wait, I can believe it, which bothers me even more.

2. Can't believe anyone in here would have a hard time believing people urinate behind trees on the golf course. ALL THE TIME.

3. Screw this stupid lady for reporting it to anyone other than a spouse or relative.

4. Sick of living in a world where this type of thing can get you put on the sex offender list and ruin your life.

Can't wait for the next mothership to come by so I can get the hell outta here.

Police in Ohio investigated Ben Roethlisberger golf foursome for alleged public urination

"We received a call that said a member of the party urinated on private property," Ball told the paper. "We spoke to the golf course and they agreed to discuss this issue internally with their members."
Columbus Dispatch
Multiple reports yesterday suggested that a Dublin homeowner saw the troubled Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback urinating on the course during a round of golf early Friday evening. The woman reported the incident to the club and then called police, who investigated. But Roethlisberger and his friends had left the course by then, the woman did not press charges, and no citations were issued.

A source close to Roethlisberger told ProFootballTalk.com that the man seen urinating was another member of Roethlisberger's group. A woman who answered the phone at the club, after hearing the caller describe the man, reportedly told the caller that it was Roethlisberger. The caller then told police that it was Roethlisberger, according to the police report.

A club official told The Dispatch yesterday that it wasn't verified whether Roethlisberger or either of his playing partners was the culprit. The official said an employee was sent to the area between the 17th green and 18th tee, where the incident occurred, and found no golfers there.
Before playing the Country Club at Muirfield Village, Roethlisberger attempted to get a tee time at the more prestigious Muirfield Village Golf Club across the road. But according to a source at that club, he was denied. "His reputation precedes him," the source said.
TMZ
According to the report, a woman named Nan Fowler phoned the pro shop at the Country Club at Muirfield Village around 6:53 PM and complained that a white, tall male -- sporting a blue golf shirt and khaki shorts -- was "urinating into some trees." The report states that Nan was informed by the woman at the pro shop that the person who fit that description was Big Ben. Nan then called police and told them that the NFL star was peeing in public.

Cops eventually arrived to the scene and spoke with country club management -- and later determined that no crime had been committed. Sources connected to the investigation tell us cops never interacted with Roethlisberger -- because Ben was "long gone" by the time authorities had arrived.
This brings to mind the scene from the movie "Porky's" in which Miss Balbricker said she could identify the, um, offending member from the famous shower scene.

It's not that this should really be a story. But if it was Ben who peed in public, whether on a golf course or not, it's just a dumb idea. You're accused of whipping your #### out . . . so you go ahead and whip it out again? Just stupidity. Not maliciousness or criminal . . . just dumb.

Well no one has ever said that Ben wasn't dumb but reports are that it wasn't him. But whoever it was I hardly think that taking a whiz in the bushes of a golf course constitutes "whipping it out" in public.

One of the greatest scenes ever, "maybe we could get a police sketch artist down here"
