My league uses Sportsline and this would impact the final score of a game. Does anyone know whether Sportsline automatically updates scores when the NFL changes a stat? Our league rules are silent on the topic of NFL stat changes.
ETA looks like they do. I just saw the link off of the Help button page, and appears they corrected a Jamaal Charles rushing statline from 92 to 88 yards after week 4... showing as 88 yards in that team's score.

I'm a little confused on how Sportsline handles this, saying that as a general rule scores are final on Friday, unless there are Thursday night games, in which case they are final 6:00 AM Thursday. Looks like they did correct the J.Charles rush yards after week 4, so that Thursday AM deadline didn't appear to impede the correction. OTOH, now that we have games every Thursday night, seems like the exception sort of swallowed the Friday finality general rule. Anyone know if CBS is typically processing these corrections before 6:00 AM Thursday?

Main reason i don't want scoring changes in my leagues.
Pretty lame to find out you lost a game 2 days after you have WIN in the standings

Way back when we always said games were not final until next week. The last few years we have forgot about that, I'm not 100 sure if CBS auto did these and we never noticed, or none of them made a difference. We would always watch out for the goofy plays and rulings, now I'm not so sure we don't have to revisit this in our league....

Much lamer to win/lose a game because a guy sitting in a box somewhere messed up and didn't see a play correctly.
I'm confused as well.. I see Sportsline officially changed Big Ben's score, but it hasn't shown up in the final score from my game last week.

usually they have a time that stat corrections are applied to the league, MFL is set for 10am thursday. Yahoo will run over night tonight, etc.......

i don't have it checked...Well I spoke to soon. CBS has changed the score all over to reflect the correct stat line.
