Big Book of Stats? (1 Viewer)

Hi Breed. We are not publishing it in book form this year. Is there a particular set of stats you're looking for? You can get split stats for individual players by going to his player page and clicking on "Split Stats." We've also got all kinds of team stats. Let me know if you're looking for something in particular.

I'm looking for percentage splits by team and player for key stats like receptions, TDs, yardage... as well as the numbers for coaches and offensive coordinators.

I'm not sure what you mean by "percentage splits," but the "Split Stats" page for each player has splits for receptions/TDs/yards/etc based on down and distance, field position, ahead or behind, etc. Here's Anquan Boldin. Some more good links that not a lot of people know about:

Team stats by position

Defensive game logs by position

2005 fantasy leaders by position

Offensive game logs

agreed would really like to see the percentages for all the teams and positions like article who throws it where.

LT player summary

If you notice, there is a row for "pct of team totals".

The coach pages had some passing/rushing splits, but those are much easier to recalculate than for the "pct of team totals" for players.

Hmm, yes. I don't know if we have that directly calculated anywhere, but it's not all that hard to do by copying to Excel from the Team Stats pages.Check back in this thread tomorrow and see if there's a better answer by then.

It may be easy, but time-consuming... especially when you want to have information for a few years going back. And it doesn't help that I'm lazy.

Will do. Thanks for your help.

Any chance we can get "percentage splits" somehow incorporated to player/team pages this year?

It is something that has been sorely missed since the abandonment of the Big Book of Stats.

I'm not entirely sure that the Big Book of Stats was ever really abandoned. I believe that it's no longer available in print form but it may still be available as a PDF file. Try PMing Doug Drinen as he'd be the one that would know.
