I love spiders and will usually do what I can to relocate them outside.  

Spiders in the house are kind of fair game though. Not what I prefer, but won't judge anyone for taking the smash approach.

Ha. I've had a cat in the house for the majority of my life. A few years ago I had to find a new home for my cat due to work travel requirements.  A few weeks later I saw my first spider in the house. Little wolf spider just prancing accross the living room floor like it owned the place.

My advice is to wait and let the shrinking potion get it down to microscopic, then ignore it.

Your never more than 10 feet from a spider. So you probably have a lot more than one. That should make you feel better.
