Plenty of time. Just need to stop getting lazy on high screens.I think it's IU's night. MD's D stayed in College Park.

That was crazy. He has been blocked a lot this year driving to the rim is the only thing I can think.how does Yogi pass up a layup?
I dunno. Indiana just looks quicker to me and MD's D is getting penetrated easier than a drunken cheerleader on prom night. Melo looks frustrated, too.Way too many open looks from three.
I can see a run when Dez and Layman get back in.
The one for Layman? Agreed. If he didn't walk (he did) then he initiated contact. The other kid was backing up.That's an awful call.
Yeah. Been a good game by the refs tonight though. Like that they are letting them play. The one for Layman? Agreed. If he didn't walk (he did) then he initiated contact. The other kid was backing up.That's an awful call.
Especially compared to last year, when they played a similar style, except with basically 1 guy on the team that could hit a jump shotBoy, IU is fun to watch. I'm guessing by the comments I see in this thread that they don't always play this well, but they're entertaining.
Best game they have played considering the competition in a long time. Not much a team can do when the other team is shooting the three like that. This is a butt-whipping. IU had out-everything'ed Maryland
MD got out-hustled, too. First time I can say that in a Terps' game I've watched this year. They didn't NOT hustle, but IU was just quicker to the ball.Ouch. Maryland didn't play defense, didn't shoot free throws, didn't execute on offense. And Ferrell couldn't miss.
I'm almost getting to the point where I'm disappointed when I see Dez come back in the game. Didn't think that would ever happen, but he just doesn't look right to me. I think Maryland's best lineup is Trimble, Layman, Pack, Nickens, and Dodd/Graham/Smo.
I'm not sure what is going on with Dez. He looks hesitant. And when he does penetrate, half the time he ends up with an awkward shot. Looks like a guy who has lost his swerve.Ouch. Maryland didn't play defense, didn't shoot free throws, didn't execute on offense. And Ferrell couldn't miss.

Caris getting hurt is going to be a major blessing in disguise. These youngsters need the minutes and key game experience for next year.Wisconsin is throwing up horrible shots.
Yeah, I just look at this whole season as building for next year.oh well....overtime not going so well. Good effort though, especially on rebounding.
Yeah, it sucks he has that toe injury. I wonder how much more he could do at 100%.Walton is looking like the guy stepping into the leadership role.
If they keep playing this well, they will be fun to watch. I would rather see a team work hard and overachieve then the team they had which was underachieving.Yeah, I just look at this whole season as building for next year.oh well....overtime not going so well. Walton looked a lot better tonight than he has all year. First time I've seen him really able to cut and make quick moves. Hopefully, the toe is healing a bit.Yeah, it sucks he has that toe injury. Hopefully he'll be good?Gopher fans, any thoughts on Jarvis Johnson next year?

Ok.He's ####### terribleHopefully he'll be good?Gopher fans, any thoughts on Jarvis Johnson next year?
He should be decent. He has some roles that he needs to play with DLS that limits other parts of a very good game.Hopefully he'll be good?Gopher fans, any thoughts on Jarvis Johnson next year?

No that's all the Gophers this year. Next year = new hope. He's ####### terribleHopefully he'll be good?Gopher fans, any thoughts on Jarvis Johnson next year?
Yeah, he's a great get. Him and Dorsey coming in from Maryland should team up with Nate Mason to give the Gophers a really good back court of the future. There'll be some growing pains next year with two freshman and a sophomore playing the major guard roles and barring a transfer or Juco or two the front court is going to be absolutely raw so next year's team will likely be ####### terrible, but Johnson is a great get for Pitino and the program. He should be decent. But actually getting a top recruit from a top-5 school in MN should be good, right?

I promise you that Coach Thorson has coached him to the NCAA level. His talents will dictate his outcome and I think he is ready for the college game.Yeah, he's a great get. But this is a very biased opinion.
Are you a Minnesota guy?Side note: I've always looked at the Gopher basketball program as soft, at best, since the early 90's. So being remotely excited is cause for celebration in a lot of ways.
Best coach in MN HS basketball. He can get the maximum from his players, with or without talent.Thorson's a great coach, I have a lot of optimism for Johnson's future.I promise you that Coach Thorson has coached him to the NCAA level. Sorry I thought you have been following along. That is/was the answer to any Gopher question this year, per FrostyI may be an idiot. Keep that in mind.:whoosh:Ok.He's ####### terribleHopefully he'll be good?Gopher fans, any thoughts on Jarvis Johnson next year?
