I've always admired those that can catch the ball in their beer cup.Fan is a doosh for bringing a glove. That's for kids that are 8.
I wouldn't waste a beer on a ball. Then again what they (used) to sell at ballparks wasn't really beer. :beersnob:I've always admired those that can catch the ball in their beer cup.Fan is a doosh for bringing a glove. That's for kids that are 8.
So it was okay since no medical attention was required. Got it.Hopefully the player will take care of the medical bills."See, son...giving someone 'the bird' is a terrible, terrible thing to do. But assaulting a random citizen is just fine."Easy one, dude gives the finger in front of little kids. He and his gf look like white trash.
Did he not just walk away? I must have missed something. He gave a small push, walked away, and then did a CYA PR move when asked about it laterI actually agree with this. Admas needs to remember he represents an organization and a sport, not just himself. And, BTW, the finger came after the shove.
In almost all circumstances, the player has to be the professional and walk away.
by instigate do you mean catching a ball in foul territory? Wasn't really a shove but Adams has no business laying a glove on a fan like that. The fan is ALWAYS the bigger Duuuchee when they instigate crap, always.
If the fan didnt instigate something, then he didnt instigate something.by instigate do you mean catching a ball in foul territory? Wasn't really a shove but Adams has no business laying a glove on a fan like that. The fan is ALWAYS the bigger Duuuchee when they instigate crap, always.
What does that have to do with this incident? The fan is ALWAYS the bigger Duuuchee when they instigate crap, always.
99.9% of the time for sure. in this case as well. The fan is ALWAYS the bigger Duuuchee when they instigate crap, always.
False. It's on Bleacher Report.Enough with this already. It's such a non story.
4/3/14 Never forget.Enough with this already. It's such a non story.
I can go along with this. It was a damn tap of the glove. The 1B guy was just telling him nice catch. It was like from one player to another. Then the fan turns on the doosh switch and acts like an A Hole while the player walks back to 1B.
Easily the fan is the bigger doosh.
Then why didn't he say that in his post-game interview?I can go along with this. It was a damn tap of the glove. The 1B guy was just telling him nice catch. It was like from one player to another. Then the fan turns on the doosh switch and acts like an A Hole while the player walks back to 1B.
Easily the fan is the bigger doosh.
Why should the fan get out of the way?Ok, finally watch the video.
WOW, how in the world could anyone think the PLAYER did anything wrong there? He dove in, while backing up from a pretty odd position stuck his glove out and barely tapped the guy with his mit.
There is ZERO duuchhhery by the player. The fan was a D-bag in the first place for not getting out of the way and instead interfering, then afterwards with the gestures. If they exchanged words with each other so be it, a D-bag will start making obvious hand gestures.
on to the post game interview............
Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, he pretty much explained what happend. LIkely not even realizing his mit barely brushed up into the guy as he was backing away while on his stomach.
jesus, there are humans out there with the bain power to type that think this player did something wrong??
Or I just don't know the definition of "shove". Seemed more like a half-tap
Why should the fan get out of the way?

Consider me ignorant then. Why should the fan get out of the way?Why should the fan get out of the way?![]()

It's kind of common sense anyway. If you DO plan to interfere with the play, you shoudl probably expect the player to be rather pissed about it, so flicking him off afterwards wins you the D-bag award pretty handily.

First time I watched it I thought the same thing. Only watched it once though. This may be the most interesting take I've seen yet.I've watched a few times but haven't seen where the shove happens. Did he shove/push with his shoulder or his glove? Initial impression is its a non-story.

The top 10 highlights today included a fan catching a ball with his almost full popcorn cup.I wouldn't waste a beer on a ball. Then again what they (used) to sell at ballparks wasn't really beer. :beersnob:I've always admired those that can catch the ball in their beer cup.Fan is a doosh for bringing a glove. This was my take as well after hearing about this for 24 hours and just now watching the video.I've watched a few times but haven't seen where the shove happens. Did he shove/push with his shoulder or his glove? Initial impression is its a non-story.
No medical attention that we know of. Internal injuries can take days to present themselves.
Maybe if you sit in the upper deck in the outfield. Sit in the second row behind the dugout or a bit farther down the line with your little kids on either side of you. You'll wish you had a glove if they take a shot in the face.Any grown man that brings his glove to a game is a doosh
It wasn't a "bro-shove" it was intentional, albeit very minor and hardly worth mentioning. The player said some BS about how he was keeping himself from falling back into the stands when asked after the game. Pretty much what he has to say to avoid any possible problem with MLB.I took it as a bro-shove. The fan should have been honored to get a bro-shove from a professional athlete, opposing team or not. The taunting and finger flipping afterwards were total bush-league, and frankly, lowbrow.
Fan = bigger doosh
I am not seeing why the fan even has one vote. This is a clear case where the player was in the wrong and instigated it.by instigate do you mean catching a ball in foul territory? Wasn't really a shove but Adams has no business laying a glove on a fan like that. The fan is ALWAYS the bigger Duuuchee when they instigate crap, always.
Same here. The player seems like kind of a doosh in the interview but overwhelmingly so. The guy catching the ball was totally within his right and space. Go Reds!I've watched a few times but haven't seen where the shove happens. Did he shove/push with his shoulder or his glove? Initial impression is its a non-story.
This. I'm still amazed nobody has been killed by a baseball the way that little girl was killed by the hockey puck in Columbus, which was a tragedy and sick, sad story, by the way. Birthday girl.Maybe if you sit in the upper deck in the outfield.Sit in the second row behind the dugout or a bit farther down the line with your little kids on either side of you. You'll wish you had a glove if they take a shot in the face.Any grown man that brings his glove to a game is a doosh
I think an honor killing of his sister is the way to go here.Player should be arrested for assault and suspended for the rest of the season IMO.
