See my post regarding the TE situation (Cooley/Davis/Paul)in the Redskins Thread, and take it for what it's worth, but if that plays itself out, Fred Davis is being consistently ranked in the Top Ten TE's, and even more highly regarded in PPR. I say 'buyer beware'. Cooley is currently available as a last round draft pick or free agent acquisition. That's a cheap price to pay for a guy who might finish with those same Top Ten #'s if Davis can't keep away from the whacky tobaccy...
Others:
QB: I think Matt Hasselbeck, Joe Webb, and John Skelton will have more statistical relevance than Jake Locker, Christian Ponder and Kevin Kolb. Not sure they may qualify as busts, because they're already all considered Fantasy QB2's.
RB: I didn't like Jamaal Charles before the injury, and like him less on the comeback and with Peyton Hillis in the stable in KC. Also, I think there are too many quality, and diversely talented, mouths to feed in San Francisco for any RB, let alone Frank Gore, to have a statistically relevant season. RBBC all the way here, IMHO.
WR: Greg Jennings, Roddy White, Hakeem Nicks, Wes Welker and Mike Wallace are all being drafted as WR1 who could easily not be the most statistically productive WR on their own Teams, and there's enough serious, quality competition for the pie that what they do produce might put them closer to WR25-36 than WR6-18. Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Jermichael Finley and James Jones; Julio Jones, Tony Gonzalez, Jaquizz Rodgers and Harry Douglass; The Pats RB Stable, Lloyd, Welker and Gaffney; Victor Cruz, Ahmad Bradshaw, David Wilson, Martellus Bennett, and other emerging Giants WR; Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, Heath Miller, Jerricho Cotcherry, Chris Rainey...
IMHO, of course...
