Biggest Change in Rules/Equipment from College to Pro (1 Viewer)

What are some of the biggest changes that college athletes experience when they reach the pro level? I don't mean level of competition, income, playing venues, or anything like that. I'm talking specifically about changes in the rules of the game or changes to equipment.

Off the top of my head, in football you only need one foot down inbounds in college but 2 feet in the pros. If I remember correctly, the clock stops more often in college football then in the pros. In baseball, players go from metal bats two wooden bats. In basketball, I think the three-point line is different as well as the shot clock.

In college and amateur golf, the player must carry their own clubs and do not have the use of a caddy. I was wondering, what are some other changes that an athlete needs to make in there playing style or equipment from a college level to a pro level?

Metal bats. If those were allowed at the big league level, there would probably be fatalities on the field.

In college basketball you are only allowed one step over the 1-and-a-half step rule when picking up your dribble.

In the NBA I think steps after the dribble relates to limitations similar to rugby.

Metal bats not so much any more. They have been "deadened" to replicate the performance of wooden bats.

It's a large reason why there's such a shortage of power in college baseball.
