What's the play? Obviously he won't be QB1 overall all season, but with his rushing ability, a re-invigorated Smitty looking dominant on the outside, and very good TE and RB options, can Cam finish top 8-10 overall? If so, isn't he still more of a "buy" than a sell high, since his owners likely took him really late and are likely willing to deal him for far less than top 10 QB value?
If you're a Cam owner, you're obviously excited. But how excited? If you rolled the dice late and got Cam to back up an elite QB (Brady, Rivers, Brees, etc.), do you do the unthinkable and deal one of those elite guys for an elite WR or RB option, and roll with Cam for the next 15 weeks? If you can get an Andre Johnson/McFadden/Fitzgerald type talent for your Brady/Brees/Rivers, do you do it and go all in on Newton?
If Cam is legit, titles will be won or lost based on decisions made by his owners this week.
