**Bills 9-4 at Patriots 11-2**(+1, 49.5) 1:00 (2 Viewers)

I'll admit up front, Buffalo is always the hardest team for me to predict, because so much of their team sucks, but Josh Allen can make magic happen. No player is more valuable to his team. I truly believe if he had gone down for the year in week 1, the Bills would be the Jets. That said, I think NE matches up pretty well with Buffalo, especially in regards to stopping the run. The Bills are gonna need someone to get open down the field, and their best option is Dalton Kincaid. Patriots aren't great against TEs, and Kincaid has been playing great, just been injured a lot this year.

For the Patriots, I think they are gonna have little trouble moving the ball on the Bills, especially if Joey Bosa (GTD) is out. They are down Benford (best CB) which means if Bosa is out too, Drake Maye will just pick them apart. He might even with Bosa. Maye has been outstanding this season, and the Bills struggle to cover the middle of the field. That likely means its a big Diggs/Henry gameplan.

I think the Bills get this one today and make it interesting down the stretch for both tams before it's all decided
The Patriots have had a fairly soft schedule thus far, would be impressed with another win vs Buffalo although they have already beaten them once this season

How do you think Maye does today?
 
Absolutely awesome opening drive by the Pats ending in an option run TD by Maye...great playcalling, the good Stevenson looks like he is playing today, and a big-time sideline catch by Boutte...Pats needs to pay Boutte very quickly...price is only going to go up.

Bills made Gabe Davis a healthy scratch today despite being their best receiver over the last month. Cool promptly bobbles a wide open bomb and Palmer commits a 3rd down false start that killed the drive. Bills deserve to lose. Too many stupid decisions.
 
McDermott not throwing the challenge flag on the Boutte catch was a mistake...Pats did a good job getting the next play off quickly but he is a veteran HC and should have been ready.

Too late to prognosticate, I would have posted that he's been steady all year and already beaten the Bills, I wouldn't be shy to play him but I wouldn't expect Top 5 numbers either
So far the whole team is doing really well

Agreed. I’ve ultimately backed him for quite a while and you never know what you’re getting as a replacement, but he is repeatedly outcoached. Beane has to go too. This team has way too little talent. They’ve whiffed on way too many high draft picks, free agent signings, and have given way too large extensions to good but not great in-house guys.
 
The Bills Defense is worse than I imagined, I thought maybe they were just young on the DL with several draft picks in '25 but it's so much more than just that
They have serious holes in the secondary plus their Front7 is not scaring anyone

285 yards in just the first half. Good for Allen's fantasy value.
 
What in the world was all that clock stuff at the end? They couldn’t have messed that up more if they tried.

I’m honestly so over the magic video reviews and how inconsistent it is. They never look at the long pass to Boutte on that first drive and so it stands even though video made it clear that he bobbled and didn’t retain possession but then they immediately radio in and (correctly) rule Cooks’s bobble an incompletion. It can tilt the game in huge ways and there are ZERO published rules on how it works.
 
3rd and 25, On one hand it's like a punt, Maye throws it 50+ yds down field and the Bills intercept around their own 10 yd line
OTOH, the Bills have momentum right now and Josh Allen has been working some magic in this 3rd Q, this game is totally up for grabs right now
It's the only game I'm watching in this 1:00 window right now
