**Bills at Eagles** (-3, 48.5) 4:25 (3 Viewers)

It's not a horse collar. His hand wasn't in the jersey and he was already engaged from the front. A horse collar is when you grab the back of the pads first. Not sure what Steratorr is talking about.
his hand also was in a fist. Don't think it was a horse collar.

But also don't think it was intentional grounding.

Wrong

ARTICLE 16. HORSE-COLLAR TACKLE

No player shall grab the inside collar of the back or the side of the shoulder pads or jersey, or grab the jersey at the name plate or above, and pull the runner toward the ground. This does not apply to a runner who is in the tackle box or to a quarterback who is in the pocket.

Note: It is not necessary for a player to pull the runner completely to the ground in order for the act to be illegal. If his knees are buckled by the action, it is a foul, even if the runner is not pulled completely to the ground.

It was definitely not intentional grounding. Not sure where the refs saw that one.

Hurts is 2 for 9, 19yds, 1 INT and a zero passer rating so far.

He does have 3 rushes for 18 yds and a Tush Push TD though, so theres that.
Still like #2 overall at QB so it's not fair to really pile on him
Are you saying wingnut has an agenda? Get out of town!
In all fairness, I try really hard to not get into it with most posters these days, sometimes I even just let them have the last word even if they don't know it
-I prefer to stay out of it but i was just making a point that I feel the pain too last couple games but he's battling and Hurts and the Eagles won vs KC last week despite some under whelming numbers...but KC is a great defense and they win a lot of games that way

Buffalo not as much lately but this is a long game and the score is mighty close right now
I don't root for either team, openly root against Buffalo because of MIA so Go Eagles Go!
But mostly I don't care who wins this game, would just make things easier if Buffalo were to lose but they are playing well so far, deserve to win if they can pull it off.
I miss the old MoP
I have a wonderful Thanksgiving story at my son's house, he's now 24 and this was his 1st Thanksgiving at his house, I'll make an FFA appearance this week guaranteed

-20 people, 4 children under the age of 6 running about, all of them "in-laws" meaning other than my wife and son, not related to any of them...
-Aunt "Bunny" who was fashionably late and apparently at one time recently ran her own "OF" site

I never muttered a word all day, and why would you when you get a front row seat to the freak show?

Gotta pick and choose your spots

Well since he didn't grab it, were all good.

I stopped posting in these threads a few years ago because I get too worked up and can't handle all the negativity, but the NFL has a very real officiating problem.

That is all.
???
This doesn’t even seem like a top-10 worst officiated game of the season so far…
How about now? Blatant horse collar, home cooking crap
I am positive I am biased, but seeing a few times, I am not sure it was a horse collar. His hand was on the back of his jersey, but the whole torn jersey thing and everything was him grabbing the front of the jersey taking him down. I'd have to see it again not in the heat of the game, but it did look like his hand was pushing down on Allen's back and pulling him down from behind

Actually it is no matter what can’t reach in to the collar
You have to pull him towards the ground with the action and buckle his knees. That didn’t happen
