I didn't see a separate thread but the Search Function sucks so who knows

anyway what a boring ### movie. how was this even considered for best picture, let alone the winner?

not trolling and maybe I didn't "get it" but I thought it was awful...like was tempted to shut it off halfway through awful. i'm assuming the same people who like this are the same people who like the TV show Hannibal...just wiling to sit through a bore fest for the artsiness of it?

disclaimer: I loved the Always Sunny Birdman Tribute episode

Movie was terrible. There were some decent parts but overall it wad just a train wreck

All horrible films that geeks liked for artistry and symbolism and deep meaning and stuff.

I felt the same way. I never watch movies out, just wait for them to come on HBO. I made it about 25 minutes before deleting it and doing something else. I told myself I'd try it again one day, that maybe it wasn't the movie and maybe it was just me. Glad I'm not the only one. People loved that movie, too. There is a dude here in town that runs the Drafthouse cinemas, Tim League, who wrote about five pages in his newsletter about it. I had never dismissed a movie like that, either. I felt like some kind of uncouth rube for not liking it too.

I usually don't fall into the artsy-fartsy circle-jerks, but I did really like this movie. Obviously it wasn't all one "long shot", but I like how they made it look that way. Plus I'm a fan of Keaton, in general, for some reason. If you want to see a real piece of crap/overrated movie, look up Boyhood. Actually, scratch that. Go shoot yourself in the head, instead.

I'm doing it. They don't cut and also bombard you with so much stuff in the first 20 minutes it gets overwhelming, but it's good once you figure out what the hell your role as the viewer is.

The Master had some great acting in it but never went any where.

Tree of Life was just terrible.

English Patient was just stupid.
