Blackberry Smoke (1 Viewer)

Band website

(Midnight Rider blend in the middle)Southern rock is certainly not dead as long as these guys are around. Some sweet Skynard, Allman Bros., Molly Hatchet covers out there.

Little Piece of Dixie has only one bad track on it. Front to back, my favorite album of the last five years. Charlie Starr is a real talent. But southern rock doesn't have wide appeal these days.

My band does a couple Blackberry Smoke covers.

Stumbled upon this band a few days ago and bought 3 of their albums since. Great stuff that I'll spend all summer listening too.

My link

Shame on the FFA for not pimping these guys more

Thanks for all of the links. I am going to see Zac Brown again this summer and they are opening. Gonna have to give these a listen.

Watching the concert from the Georgia Theater on youtube right now. Full concert. Pretty impressed. Might get that cd now. Needed something new and this has potential.

Thought your band sounded a bit like that.. was going to ask...

My dad is into country and caught these guys opening up for someone.

Got him tickets to Irving Plaza - a relatively small place for NYC and the show was Awesome!!!!!!

I was a huge Black Crowes fan back in the day - Taller Fan club, many dozens of shows and all.... To me and my buddy, we felt like we were watching early Black Crowes. As if, the Smoke CD were actually a new Black Crowes cd we would think they found their roots and soul again.

I'd highly recommend checking out this show!!!

these guys are coming to St. Andrews in Detroit on Saturday, January 25th. can't wait to check them out live :excited:
