well,

got blown out today which marks the end of my season.

looking to next year, has anyone done this?

this would be just like you do on a blind bidding waiver, meaning an owner would announce a player and all teams would write a bid down and the team who has the highest bid wins said player and then nominates another player.

jsut thought it would be different and wondering if anyone has done this?

i did a search but too many threads pulled up.

Sounds like an interesting concept to me, but I have never heard of anyone do it.

It would really separate the men from the boys, as you would have to know what you think someone is worth, rather than just getting into bidding wars when you see a lot of interest.

yeah solorca, figured we could order the draft kit with the auction price on said player stickers to give everyone a base value on a player and let the owner decide on how high to go knowing you only have 1 shot.

We do it with waivers but not for the draft. Half the fun of the draft is out-bidding people!!

I've been in a league that's been doing this for about 5 years or so.

It's a lot of fun, but each year that goes by it gets a little easier, but not much. You really have to keep track over the years of bidding trends. The first year will be the most difficult.

i can't for the life of me understand my league.

we have been doing blind bidding waivers for years and everyone loves it, but as soon as i bring up an auction draft everyone says no way.

hoping i can sell a blind bid draft.
