Our league used to use homegrown sports. We are now having problems finding league sites that are not blocked by our company server. Any suggestions?

No idea, but MyFantasyLeague has a wireless site, that you can use from your phone, and can do pretty much everything. Assuming you can use your phone for browsing.

Here's a tip. Try actually doing work during work hours. I know it can be boring, but it pays the bills. In a way, I'm fortunate that my work has almost all the good sites blocked, I'd honestly be tempted to surf all day.

Assuming you guys work "normal" hours, how and why did you post to this thread when you did?

Or - why aren't you working???

I will speak for myself. I overdid it swimming this Memorial Day weekend in my pool. I am home sick with painful ear infection, known as "swimmer's ear". I am on meds and I got bored. I am never usually on during the workday.

Says the guy who is on this site during the day to post this and would be tempted everyday if his work made it possible.

I've seen a thread that maybe offered a way around the issue.Dont recall exactly, but it was something like putting the league numbers in your browser versus the usual addy....I'm sure someone will weigh in.

A coworker mentioned to me one time that he knew of people that got around blocked sites by downloading firefox and browsing with that instead of internet explorer. I'd be worried that that'd be grounds for firing though.

Also, on MFL and most sites you can set up your email alerts so that you're notified for trades waiver moves etc. One way to stay in touch.

Our IT department would be all over someone who tried to download unauthorized files like this. Every keystroke is monitored. The terms of use signed by the employee gives the boss grounds for immediate dismissal. We are allowed to check our email accounts liberally, so I set up my email to gather active information as needed. A couple of times, when breaking news or trade offers made me need to act quickly, and only rarely, have I called the wife and asked to her to do a transaction from home. It typically isn't worth the  reaction that I get from her.
