Worked through the night to get some very good stuff up on the site.

- Consistency Scores

- John Norton's Preseason Eyes of the Guru (AFC) - A must read for people playing IDP leagues

- Bloom's Buy Low / Sell High on RBs - Must read for people playing dynasty leagues

- In-depth look at defense tiers from freelancer Mike Howerton

- Jeff Pasquino's Look at Serpentine, RSS, RRS, and Double Serpentine Drafts

- Chris Smith breaks down Draft Slots 1-4

- 7 Faceoffs

- 2 Insider Interviews

and the day is just getting started....

Still working on these things for release today/tomorrow:

- Site Map (about 65% done)

- 10+ Faceoffs

- Mike Herman's WR Matrix

- Mike Herman's Updated Big Picture

- New ADP

Are you trying to cross-market for Joe by using the term "boatloads"? Because it may just work. :goodposting:

Thanks for the all great stuff.

Drowning in great stuff! Best time of the year! Eyes of the Guru is money I tell you freaking MONEY!!!!!!!!!

To "drill down" a bit more -- make sure you check out the QB consistency scores. Without revealing too much, seeing where Tom Brady ranked was a HUGE eye-opener, especially considering where he's being drafted.

Excellent work, guys!

People are excited about Brady's 2007 prospects because of Moss, Stallworth, and Welker, and maybe also because of the absence of Dillon. But you are correct to point out that, as a fantasy QB last year, Brady was downright mediocre. As a bit more evidence, Chase Stuart's rearview QB article points out that Brady was 13th in the league in "fantasy points per adjusted game".

Good thing we are drafting for this year, and not last year (see completely different talent around him).

I just thought the freelance article on defenses was extemely well done and thought out. I only wish it was posted last week when I was in the middle of one of my drafts.

People forget so quickly that Brady was throwing to a bunch of retreads last year. His yardage was way down early because of how choppy everything was, you could tell he was frustrated.

How were the consistency scores tabulated? Were the categories just added up to give a total number? Should guys like McNabb and Romo who didn't start every game be adjusted to affect per game averages, or does that defeat the purpose of evaluating consistency?

Yes I added up all of the categories and ranked. I purposely did not want it to reflect a per game look (but did include games so you can see that), because injuries causing players to miss games are a measure of inconsistency. I want my QB playing every game and hitting milestones every week so he is a must-start. If he is missing time, he gets no love in these lists.

Man, oh man. I love boatloads of stuff.

I am making an effort to read everything you guys put out relative to my leagues. I am one of those guys who likes to read things off of paper instead of reading off of the screen. The drafts are at least 1 month away and I already have an eight inch stack of material I have either read or am needing to read. I am really enjoying the "Breaking Down Team Defenses" article. Good job Mike. BTW which poster is Mike Howerton?

God Bless You FBG.

Mike is LionsFan78, and his article was excellent in my opinion.

I agree, that article was a top notch effort!!!!!

Hmmm. Consistency, eh? Wasn't that long ago my plea for that was kind of smacked down.. glad to see it, after all. Great stuff, as always.
