Wondering what his worth is...thinking of picking him up as a #2 or #3 REC (we combine TEs and WRS in our league). Right now FBG has him rated pretty low, actually virtually a 1a and 1b with Burleson.

I just don't see Jackson coming back very quickly with the knee...it doesn't look promising:

Seahawks receiver Darrell Jackson, who hasn't practiced since undergoing offseason knee surgery, is now expected to return to the field next week, according to the Seattle Times. It was hoped that he would be able to practice this week.

OUR VIEW

Jackson's knee is becoming a serious question mark for fantasy owners. He will not participate in any preseason action and he'll have only a few practices under his belt before the season kicks off. Even if he is healthy, he'll have to deal with some rust after such a long layoff. If you are counting on Jackson to be your No. 2 wideout this season, you would be wise to explore other short-term options for your starting lineup. Oh yeah, he also left team headquarters Tuesday because of a bout with the flu.

WR #2 i think... he'll probably catch 6, 7 or 8 10-15 yard passes... but they'll be taking their shots down the field w/ Burleson

#1 by default maybe. The guy has never really produced much, but didnt exactly start his career with a real QB.

I like Engram best in PPR leagues. He is a good bye-week replacement

Engram and Jackson were both in the top 5 in the NFL in terms of receptions before they went down to injury. Hasselbeck loves him. I'd take him over Burleson in a heartbeat- PPR or no PPR. He's also one of the few "WR Handcuffs" that I consider (along with Keyshawn), because he's a guy whose value increases considerably if the guy ahead of him goes down.

he's pretty fond of Nate too from what i hear.... and Nate has been playing Djax in practice... i think he simply has the higher ceiling of the two... just like JJ last year... Engram was solid (i had him while Djax was on IR)... but Joe J was the man who could deliver 30... but both Engram and Burleson have had trouble staying healthy themselves!... DJ Hackett still on their roster?

He was my 15th round pick and WR5. If he stays healthy, I think he gets a steady 60-70 yds a week along with the occasional TD. He's not going to win your league for you, but certainly can step in for a couple of weeks if your WR2 gets injured or you have a WR bye week.

Agree. I expect Burleson and Engram numbers to be about equal.

If DJax is 90% he significantly better than Burleson or Engram and will get you WR1 numbers. There's no two ways about it. However, there is an IF involved there. If you believe he will not be healthy this year, avoid him. If you believe he will be fine once the season starts, nab him as your #2 and have the benefit of two #1 receivers.

In every game he played significant time in last year, Jackson was excellent and targeted heavily by Hasselbeck.
