Can we consider A. Boldin a bust this season relative to his draft position? I have him in 1 league and thought he really under achieved after week 6 where he went off on Chicago. Looking at the stats from Week 7-16, he went

Seems he really suffered because of the change to Leinert. Does that mean he goes off this week with Warner starting? Not that it matters much to most teams in Week 17.

I'm sure the people that had Boldin have realized his dropoff but I haven't seen much discussion about his season

No. He was not. His TDs were a bit off and next year you are going to have to look at Fitz as the clear cut #1 (2nd to 3rd round) with boldin lower (4th - 5th), but he was still money.

I had Boldin/Hoosh/T Glenn as my starting 3 in my WR rotation and they were perfect for what I needed them to be.

FWIW, he and Isaac Bruce are the only players with over 800 yards and less than 5 TDs.

I took him at 2.11 in an initial keeper league, but I wouldn't call him a bust. He was disappointing and didn't help him in the playoffs, but I knew he was a risky pick going in. My mistake was flip-flopping when it came down to him or Wayne.

He wasn't a bust for me but he was definitely a disappointment. 12 team dynasty league, pretty standard scoring, no PPR. I traded for prior to the season planning on him being a weak #1 or very strong #2. He ended up as the #19 WR. It seems to me that he is going to suffer from Fitz apparently being a much more friendly target to Leinert than Boldin. Average to very weak #2 as long as he remains in ARI and stuck behind Fitz.

consider me shuked.He was good enough in PPR leagues. In non-PPR leagues, he was a bust relative to his draft spot.seven of his last nine games he had less than 7 FPs in non-PPR leagues. For a WR picked in the first 12 receivers in most 12-team leagues, that is a fantasy bust.

Considering his draft spot, he was a bust. Very interesting to see his last 10 week stats with Leinart.

Going into next year, if you believe Leinart will improve, than I believe Boldin's stats will also improve, making him undervalued at his anticipated draft round (5th or so). It also depends on who will be coaching the Cardinals.

i think with time, Leinart learns to read defenses even faster, he gets Oline, that's lets edge catch out of the backfield, i see boldin holding or increasing... I traded away caddy for boldin... hopefully denny or someone, can put together an Indy or Cinci like offense for them...
