I was just looking over Bonds' stats, and noticed the only time he hit more than 49 HR's in a season was the year he hit 73. 24 above his 2nd best. I guess I don't have much of a point, except that that is pretty incredible. Whether he was juiced up or not, he was REALLY locked in for an entire year.
In 1993, he had 46 HR's 123 RBI's 129 Runs 29 SB's and hit .336 - just one yr that stood out. Like him or not, even when he was skinny as hell, the guy put up some absolutely crazy #'s year after year.
