I read a thread and click on Back to Footballguys Free For All and it shows that I've not read the thread. But there is not a new post

It's been doing that all weekend.

Also, I noticed if I go into a thread and post, the post doesn't show up. Go back to the FFA main page and it shows as unread. Refresh and the post counts and times don't update. For a long time. Go back into an active thread and no new posts.

But if I manually update the page number in the url, I'll get the latest posts.

For some reason, cached versions are loading instead of live ones.

It may be how my browser has chosen to deal with the infinite redirect loop that just started causing the pages to not load at all.

Assuming either something changed or some ad I'm not seeing is corrupt.

I was getting the "infinite redirect loop" as well this weekend.

I think the URL changed, once I updated my bookmark for the FFA the problem went away.

We got the loop thing, too. But we didn't change anything, and it still went away.

For a few months on my Amazon Kindle I was getting security errors, but at least it would let me connect.. Now I get web page not found..

Went through the main site footballguys.com and tried accessing the forums from there, same error and this is with two browsers I have on the Kindle.

I use Firefox with an automatic refresh on a locked tab for page 1. This should allow me to always have a current page one, and then open new tabs when I click on a thread.

Like others, lately I have been having periods when the page 1 tab is 'stuck' on older refresh periods. Threads I have read stay marked as new, and new information isn't there.

ETA: Like others, I also have been having the issue where a thread will be opening in a new tab, open to ~90% and then will reload, and hang on reloading.
