He is, but not in the nickel. Also I feel like Tim Dobbins has totally outplayed him.

Playing the same spot/role as DeMeco last year. Serviceable, not spectacular. Won't be in on 3rd down. Won't be blitzing for sacks/forced fumbles. Really hard for that spot to generate more than 4-6 tackles a week and when they play home games, whoever keeps stats there LOVE to give 1/2's on tackles. If Cushing is on the field at the time the play occurs, he pretty much gets credit for 1/2 the tackle (someone pimps him hard for whatever reason).
