No I did not search nor do I care if this is OT.

Mr Quinn said it quite well and I'm proud that Mr Bryant and others recognized it as I always knew this site was better. At his PC Sunday I was immediately impressed with Mr Quinn and he forever changed my opinion of him.

Neighbors don't let neighbors kill themselves.

And nowadays's - these are the neighborhoods we live in.

I assure you I will flame your ### all day - but it's no fun to flame your dead ###. I was at a local bar today and the 'young group' came in. All up in the phones. I am not so young so it's not so easy for me - but I'm OK WITH THAT.

Just don't be all callous and lame. That gets us nothing and we need more.

If you are in your fantasy playoffs congrats and engage your opponent - if you are not - chime in and cheer on your friend. Just be INVOLVED. You may be surprised.

my name is Ken - my email is ken@knsbrakes.com and I welcome anyone.

Heard the Quinn soundbites from the presser and he did sum things up pretty good. I think that is what the op was angling at.

I understand where the OP is coming from. We actually discussed Brady Quinn's remarks at our weekly management meeting.

When you ask someone how they're doing - do you really mean it? And if they tell you they're doing great - do you really know? The takeaway was let's really try to understand the folks who report to us and make sure we are doing all we can, if needed.

I understand the backlash here as the connections in the virtual world pale in comparison to our real life relationships. But kuods to the OP.

How many times has someone asked you how you are and before you could finish saying "not too good" they've already started to say "oh that's good".

 Though if someone starts with a pregnant pause and eye contact that's usually a clue what is coming.I have 35 people that work for my four direct reports. I take every one of them to lunch at least once every quarter. I also do a lot of MBWA*. But you have to balance being aware and respecting folks desire for privacy. I have a personal relationship with a lot of folks who work with me, but a fair amount leave it at the door. You have to know your audience.*management by walking around

I don't understand what you are saying. Are you trying to say what Ken said? Because I think Ken said it much better than you.Oh, and how are you?

I'm tired, but doing well. Thanks for asking.

Technology in all its grace and glory has had a very negative affect on real human communication/interaction. We don't really talk anymore.

I feel sorry for all the employers that have to interview this new generation of employees that only really know how to communicate with their thumbs (texting).

I realize there are way more impactful people in this world, but every parent should take the time to have their kids watch Quinn's presser.
