Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving... (6 Viewers)

Gonna be chasing Thielen's points all year. Took him out for Amendola once Keenum was announced the starter. Have one guy every year I'm just not in sync with... ever.

Don't know WTF I'm thinking at times.

Will likely cost me my game based on this decision alone.

 
Play Cooks for two weeks and nothing in a TD heavy league (and stupidly sat Crabtree last week for Cooks and Gronk).

Sit him this week and 2 TDS and a 2 point conversion.

I hate FF

 
Unless the Dallas D gets -4 or worse on Monday, my teams will have lost 5 games during the first 3 weeks by less than 5 points. 2 by less than 1 point.

 
Guy in our PPR league started Cohen (17 pts) and Gore (19 pts) which was respectable enough. 

The problem is his bench consists of Murray (29 pts), Howard (39 pts), and Chris Thompson (currently 36 pts).

Poor guy was already 0-2 and was worried about injuries and Thompson’s workload decreasing comments. 

 
Brag: Gonna likely be 3-0 in & points leader in both my IDP & D/ST leagues.

both teams with Hunt, TyMont, Tate. One team with Cook, the other with Parker. Huge day despite crappy QB play in Semien & Wentz respectively. 

Took TEs super late, Clay, Brate both contributing in both leagues.

Knock on wood, I hope the thrill ride continues.

Me, last year. I lost 4 games by 1.5 or less  .4 was the worst - I was up 3.6 and not one, but two different players each lost tackles in NFL stat adjustments, costing me 4 points - on a Thursday after the games, 15 mins before Thursday night kickoff. Changing a W to an L. 

Sometimes it's just not your year.

Started Ebron and Cohen over Graham and Howard due to injury concerns. Have a 10 point lead with Bailey left vs his Dak and Nelson.

 
Went with a gut feeling that Henry would have a monster game and that the Vikings would struggle without Bradford so I started Henry over Cook.  Not only that but I also have Murray on my team and he went off when I thought he wouldn't play much.  So many points left on my bench.

i should win in both, but with that TD I'd be a lock instead of 98%. I prefer the lock ? 

 
had a great week.  high score in both my leagues.  won both

on one of my teams every player scored at least one td.  i had three players score multiple tds. all this with my defense going negative.  baltimore.

I should be OK as long as CJ2K doesn't go for more than 19.25 in PPR.

Agreed, I overthought it. INmy defense we play 2WR and 1 Flex. My starters are Jordy/Odell. I flexed with Carson. 

What I need to do is flip one on a 2 for 1 for a stud RB to pair with Dalvin Cook.

Received: Meredith, Cameron CHI WR & Rookie Draft Pick 2.11

Gave up Diggs: Stefon MIN WR

Meredeith is lost for the season and Diggs is the #1 overall WR.  :wall:

 
Benched Howard, Cohen, Watkins for Buck Allen, Gillislee and JJ Nelson (defensible but :bag:  )

Still with a chance to win but I need 18.6 from JJ tonight.

 
 I held my breath for the last 15 minutes of the AZ/DAL game.

The last 2 passes Palmer threw (which was weird, I thought they were going to kick a FG), the last 2 right near the goalline put me ahead of my opponent...

 104.90 - 104.62  

 .28 FTW

Now I need to dodge a stat correction.   :excited:

So when I draft kickers, it's the last round, and I choose them in this order:

1. Latest possible BYE week 

2. Dome, if possible. If not, good weather home field

3. Quality of offense - more RZ, more points

4. Foot at end of leg.

so I was delighted when I landed Philly's kicker with a late BYE in a good offense and a foot at the end of his leg. Both leagues. 

Put on IR after 1 week.

so I picked up Santos in both leagues as a replacement. Late BYE, high scoring offense. 

Today he was put on IR. :doh:  

Imma have to spend *another* $9 on %#!€#!%! kickers this week?!? 

God I hate kickers. 

 
Blew out my opponent in my 14 team PPR IDP league by over 80 pts thanks to Diggs, Cook, and Gronk

Started Riddick over Howard and Wentz over Wilson.  Would have set the new weekly high score in the league's 8 year existence if I hadn't goofed that up

 
Fantasy Mansion on the Rotoviz Podcast:  "I don't watch the games at all, I just look at the stats afterwards"

That's pretty hard with football.

One of my best teams ever is steamrolling with a 3-0 start averaging 154 points in a league where the average is around 120. 

One of my worst teams ever is off to a 3-0 start thanks to playing the worst, second worst and 4th worst weekly scores to date.  This team is HORRIBLE, but despite being like 5th or 6th in scoring, I have faced the fewest points scored against.

 
I understand that with a new football season, it brings new players here to the fbgs forums    

But please for the love of all things football, please upload an aviator.  I mean, how the hell else am I supppsef to tell everybody apart?

Far from new, but never could find the "pilot" program that allows users to do this...
