Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving... (2 Viewers)

Two of my losses this year came due to Hopkins blow-out games.  Lost early to one team that had him, and then later (week 8?) against the team he was traded to.

I hate that guy!

Went against Roethlisberger/Brown in one league and Roethlisberger/Boswell in the other.  Both 6 pt td leagues.  Fortunately in the first those are the opponents only decent players so I have a chance (but 7 tds out of two players will make it tough) and in the other league I have Brown which offset most of Roethlisbergers points (but his monster kicker night coul dcome back to haunt me).

 
Across 2 leagues I have A. Adbullah, O. Darkwa, and L. Miller on my benches.

Ugh Thompson, Foreman, and Benjamin all carted off today on my main dynasty team. Looks like it is going to get crowded on my IR with those 3 likely joining OBJ, Luck, and Arob. 

 
My two K are Crosby and Tavecchio. Started Oak K.Felt good after the 1:00 games I made the right start. Apparently I was fated to take the doughnut.

Guy I'm playing starts Gostkowski.Getting beat 23-0 at the K position.

 
Going to win my 5th in a row while also collecting my 3rd high of the week in the last 4 weeks (at $30/week). Need 38 points from Wentz/Graham to set the new single game scoring record. 

Since starting 0-4 have been in top 3 in scoring every week while going 6-1.

Huh? I’m guessing you’re a disgruntled McKinnon owner, but what you just said is laughable. RB1? In what world? They nearly split carries and Murray got the goal line work this week. He won’t grab two scores each game. He’s a low-end RB2 at best. Flex most likely.

He'll get the "GL work" every week, homeboy. That DT is not likely going to put them in shootouts/PPR bonanzas.

I can relate.  Had three guys carted off today who were on one of my teams in an 18-team dynasty IDP league with Okafor, Thompson and Woods.  While Woods looks like he avoided major injury I've already lost OBJ, JJ Watt and Watson to IR.  I've also got Hogan and Hurns on my bench.  With a lot of help from Footballguys I am somehow leading the league in record and points scored with Bortles as my QB, but these injuries are doing everything they can to prevent me from winning.  Call this a brag and vent in one.

 
Have a lead (even after going against Keenan Allen) and going against Wentz...first half was great...have a feeling I’m going to get beat because of the Eagles kicker being out and these two point conversions.

 
Pretty much everyone I was hoping for to make a strong finish to the season hasn't, and everyone else's players have. Same as any other season. I'll keep coming in here year after year. Wentz, Gurley, Engram, Zeurlin all laid eggs today. Now have to win last 2 games to make playoffs, which I won't.

Yup...lost by one point.  To the only team that could have beaten me.

 
Will likely win this week which is good, but had multiple chances to snatch Perine and didn’t.  Feels bad man

When homerism goes horribly wrong:

I played against one of the 2% of people in CBS leagues that started Cory Clement last night.

But on the bright side, I was starting Ertz and Elliot who combined for a whopping 1.8 points.

my opponent scored 165 points in .5 ppr and still has Jimmy Graham to go.  I've now lost 4 after being 5-2.  most points against.  2nd most points scored.

 
Alex Smith +  Golden Tate + Greg Zurlein = 13 points

Grand total for the week = 68 points (imagine me saying this the same way George Costanza was telling Jerry about the results of the IQ test that Elaine took for him) against the bottom dwelling 2-win team in my league.

About to tumble from 5th to 9th place...only 8 make the playoffs.

Totally kicking butt in my dynasty. Crushing another division leader this week. Will clinch my division, first round bye and #1 seed after this victory.  Feels good.  :pickle:

I know the matchup sucks but I don't see how you sit Larry Fitzgerald

 
Clinched a playoff spot in both my money leagues last night with identical 8-3 records.  Sitting 2nd and third. Top 2 spots get byes.  I will have to keep winning if I want a bye cause all the teams around me are good.

But I can't complain

 
Never had a year like the one I am having in my main league...

4th in overall points

4th in All-Play record

There's a 7-4 team in my league with the 2nd least points. If I had their schedule I would be 9-2.

Instead, I have the most points against and have a 2-9 record. Just lost this week 155-129. Incredible.

 
Amazing that I am 3-8, 3rd in points scored in a 10 team league, and I still have a chance to make the playoffs.  The 6th place team is 4-7 and I have him easily covered in points scored.  There are 2 other teams 4-7, so I sit in 9th place right now, with 6 teams making the playoffs.  Would be the first time a 5-8 team made the playoffs in 18 years in this league.

 
Anyone else lose this week because of the garbage TD the Bucs D scored at the end of the Miami game? I lost by just under 4 in one of my leagues. To make matters worse, I thought I pulled it out Monday night when Tevin Coleman scored his second TD, only to have it taken away on review. 

Didnt help that I picked up the wrong kicker this week to replace Gano on bye. Mason Crosby. Surely the Packers can't get shut out at home, surely that can't happen!

I know the games not over, but...Vernon f'n Davis, man.

Giants always get destroyed by TEs every week this year + Vernon Davis has been a very consistent fantasy option when Reed is out = 0 catches in my lineup.   :no:

And opponent has Crowder and Rudolph

 
Each week the past few weeks I play a guy hitting a season high. Keenan Allen and Latavius Murray last week...Crowder this week.
