Yeah, my FFPC Dynasty team, in the first round of the playoffs, was relying heavily on Kamara with Juju already on my bench.

And my FPC team in the first week of the $250K Championship round has Kamara and Lutz, who had two FG's taken away.

A really bad and costly Thursday...

 
Had Lutz and Bryant in two leagues last night. About to get a field goal right before half and Matt Ryan throws a pick. Defender takes it into field goal range for Lutz. He hits it but the lined up in the wrong formation so it doesn't count. End up with nothing from both... FF for you lol.

 
Started Brees, Julio and Lutz with the playoffs on the line last night and I feel like a whole bunch of points were left on the table.

-Lost 4 points when the field goal didn't count at the end of the half

-2.5 points taken away on a ridiculous penalty on Julio

- 3 points would've been scored had the Saints kicked the game-tying field goal on 4th and 1 to tie the game, and there would've likely be more coming. At least the INT woud've been avoided

-And Peyton's penalty prevented a possible Falcons punt, potentially leading to 40 yards for Brees, a Lutz field goal and overtime magic.

Winning in fantasy football takes luck and skill. Last night, I didn't have the luck.

 
whining.

had gordon in his rookie year in dynasty.  held him for a while through the earlier parts of the suspension. drafted him in other redraft leagues in the hopes of him coming back.  in many other years, I would have grabbed him in redraft this year mid-season, but I've just been burned so many times that I could not buy in.  Now it looks like he might really do something.

also annoyed that I dropped Doug Martin after the concussion, because I felt good about my 4 other RBs and wanted the spot for Aaron Rodgers.  That mofo better come back.

Having a bye week sucks all I do is sit around and think about these kinds of things.

 
I hate kickers in fantasy football.  I'm going against H. Butker this week and because the KC offense sucks in the RZ today he's scored 12 points in the first half.... kickers are too random... if KC punched in those TDs he would have 4 points... fantasy football has enough luck without including this stupid ####### totally unpredictable position.

Aaaaaaaaand before I can hit submit he makes another FG... 15 ####### points on totally random bull####.

 
Guy I'm playing started Mike Davis and Latavius Murray. Has Jon Stewart and Rod Smith on the bench. I feel bad for him.

 
In one league - 3 of the four top teams going down (still players left so miracles could happen - but right now 3 of the 4 are 70% favored to lose.  

In my other league the #1 and #3 seeds are getting HAMMERED.

Fantasy playoffs are so much fun...NOT.

7-6 #5 seed (much better team IMO) beating 9-4 #4 seed 87%

same records in the other quarter, #3 beating #6 74%

I’m going to end up about 5th in points across the two brackets, pretty lucky I’m on a bye 

I do have more easier matchups next week

 
In my primary 16-team league, it's looking very much like teams that were once 0-4, 1-4 and 2-5 are all advancing to the fantasy semi-finals.  My team will be the only steady eddy performer across the entire year to join them... but this is a league where historically underdog/bottom feeder teams come back to win it all as if it were a Mario Kart race so I'm just praying I can dodge the blue shell as long as possible.

 
Have 3 players going tomorrow and it means nothing. I'm going to lose again from the highest score if the week. Story of the year. I may finish with the most total points but ultimately 7-7 and done.

 
Looks like my TE streaming choice after a starter injury... Just like last year... debated all week between to TEs(Burton vs Anderson). Yeah you know who I picked.

Thought I was looking good.. and then a Jeffrey TD and 2 bombs by Wilson completely erases that.  Turns out the Brees pick is likely going to cost me the season.  Thanks.

 
Lmao the team made the playoffs with the least points in the league with an 8-5 record due to lucky schedule currently has 120 points and started Jonathon Stewart out of desperation.

Same damn thing. Once Ertz cleared the protocol, I was set with Anderson. Then, Celek gets the TD and I figured it'd probably be a stupid wash with neither player making a difference. Whoops.

 
I've never had a fantasy season end on a playoff bye week, but after losing Kamara and Wentz this week I think that may have just happened  :rant:

 
I was so pumped about my teams chances to win it all before the game Thursday. 

Kamara gets hurt first drive and it’s over. 

I was mad at Brees for even throwing the ball to him in all that traffic before it even happened. 

Oh well. I got lucky last year to win it all so I guess it evens out. 

 
I almost picked up Burton to start in front of Jimmy Graham.  But didn't have the stones.  Graham's zero is probably gonna doom me

 
Well it's official. I have become the 1st owner in my league to lead the league in scoring and not make the playoffs. League started in 1996.

 
Needed help from 2 teams that have already checked out. Almost broke my way but when you put it in other's hands, you get what you deserve. See you all next season. 

 
Brown put me back in with a flicker of hope. Of course, had the teams already eliminated been bothered to check their lineups, I'd have advanced already. That happens every year and it always pisses me off. Still, I've been guilty of checking out in the past. All part of this ####ty hobby we kill ourselves over year in and year out. Now, I have to hope for a career night from James White or for Drake and Burkhead to get injured early and not get a combined 13 PPR points... :|

This BS has officially ended my days of playing traditional fantasy football.

I still might advance to the playoffs. I am up against one other guy for the final playoff berth. He is one game behind me but got a free win because his opponent started Smith-Schuster and Mixon and let Jamaal Williams waste on his bench. I am likely to lose my game. Therefore, the final playoff berth will come down to the total points tiebreaker. That battle is 1427.30 to 1427.20 currently. He has Drake and Burkhead left. I have Landry. So, I likely will lose but you never know. But, the idea that he gets a free win because some turd checked out of the league two weeks ago...

It is all play or best ball for me going forward. Best ball takes lineup decision making out of the mix. I will miss that but it is way better than the nightmare scenario cited above especially in a money league.

So the #1 seed (me) is likely going to lose to a 5-8 #8 seed; the #3 seed lost to the 6-7 #6 seed and the #4 seed is trailing the #5 seed with a coin flip heading into tonight's game.  The only higher seed to advance will be the # 2 seed over the #7 seed.

In my other league - 2/3/4 all advanced and 1 is a 5 point favorite to hang on in the MNF game.

The 6 seed - who probably has an OK team, 6th in points but 2nd fewest PA makes it feel like he’s super lucky  - came back from 26% of winning to 80% thanks to Wentz & Brown. With Zeke suspended those are his studs. Oh, and with Ertz our he uses Ebron for the 2nd time - high score of the season. The 3 see is down 32.14 with Brady left. Passing TDs are 4 pt but we have 40+ play & milestone bonuses so it ain’t over yet.

The 5 seed is super scary. 3rd in points, 7th in pints allowed, don’t know how he went 7-6. 189.62 points yesterday which might be our high of the season. Big Ben, Hopkins, Gurley, Boswell, and he got average to low weeks from Freeman, Hunter Henry, Marvin Jones, CMC. I’m next.  :lol:

In a bye, I would have been 3rd in points - Bell, Collins, Dak, Allen, Funchess still have Cooks to go.

 
I am the commish of a  12 team league in year 14 with 8 straight years of the same owners. 2 years ago, I had a custom Championship Belt made to pass around to the winner each year. The cost was $180 completed. I asked all the owners to vote on paying an extra $10 to help cover some cost for one season (totaling $110). One guy voted NO. That guy won the Belt in 2016. He then sent me about 5 pictures of people wearing the Belt after he won it (including his dog, which I must say was indeed hilarious). This past weekend I played him in the first round of the playoffs as the #6 seed vs him as the #3 seed. Guess who's going home early this year  :D  Best part is, I am knocking him out by using 5 guys from the pool (Gio, Alfred, Kupp, Kizer and Coons). Sweet Revenge. I don't even care if I lose next week, it's all house money for me now..lol
