Got my main league to add a doubleheader week so that we could have a week-16 championship.

After getting great scores from CMC, Julio, Landry and Kittle this week, and with Tyreek and maybe Ware nicked up, I predict that my team's traditional week-14 bed-crapping will now knock me out in the semifinals instead of the quarters.

I just have a sick sense that Kittle and especially Landry are going to come crashing back to earth.  Really hoping Tyreek can go, and that Gordon comes back for the Chargers.

Went undefeated this season with Goff, Gurley, and Cooper Kupp. Have a bye week this week, first round of playoffs. After the Rams #### the bed last night my team scored the fewest points   All season! Luckily it’s a bye week!

Vent for one of my league mates - led the league in scoring by a wide margin.  Had the #1 QB (Mahomes), #1 RB (Gurley), #1 WR (Thielen - dropped to #3 WR after this weekend) and #1 TE (Kelce) on his roster (first time I can ever remember that happening in the 26 year history of the 12 team redraft league).  Just lost a playoff game to the #7 seed who really only had Brady and Westbrook.  Just one bad day for multiple players  at the wrong time and now the playoffs are  a crap shoot.

Had the highest scoring team in a 16 team IDP/ppr (.5 RB/1 WR/1.5 TE) Dynasty league. My roster featured:

Rodgers, Gurley, A.Jones, M.Thomas,Hopkins, Diggs in my line-up and IDP players all top 5 In their respective positions. 

Lost in Semi-final this week as nearly all my studs had meh games.....sometimes I hate this game..

Highest scoring team in a 2 conference 24 team league - I had more than a full week's points on the 2nd place team.  Average weekly points of 140+ vs. a league average of 95+ or so...I had Brees, Gurley, Conner, Peterson, Kelce, AJ Green, and Golladay as my ideal line-up, and Zeurline at K, and Denver/Jax at Defense....Bench had guys like C. Sutton, Larry Fitzgerald, Frank Gore, and some other lesser guys...Basically got a bomb dropped on me in the 1st week of the playoffs (last week) when I lost Conner, Green, and also Greg Olsen who was on my bench...then I flexed Sutton, started Fitz and Golladay, who put up garbage, and Gurley did the same.  Put up a whopping 55 points and was out.  Unreal.

I have drafted and amassed what is almost an undefeatable team. 13-1 in the regular season. 

Hopkins, Julio, Thielen in the 1st 3 rounds. 

Miller and Conner in the middle rounds along with Kerryon. 

Amari Cooper and Golladay were also drafted. 

During the season I attained Carson and Chubb and traded Golladay for Fournette during Fournette’s injury to try and mitigate for if Bell ever came back.

WRs - Julio, Hopkins, Thielen, Cooper

my biggest problem each week is who the hell to play ! 

Cooper hasn’t started a game for me. Likewise Carson and Miller hasn’t started in around 6-7 weeks. 

And yet it still all comes down to some luck over the next two weeks. 

I have feeling that the most dominant team I’ve ever created will stumble near the final hurdle

My team looked great just a few weeks ago (except for RB2) - we start 1QB ,2RB ,2WR ,1TE ,1FL ,1K ,1D

Starting lineup was this:  C. Wentz, E. Elliott, whatever RB2 I could find,  AB, OBJ, Z. Ertz, Bears, Zurelein, and one of K. Golladay/E. Sanders in FLEX.

Now nearly everyone is injured or affected by an injury:  looks like C. Wentz might not play which affects Z. Ertz.  Elliott is Q.  AB has Ben with bruised ribs.  OBJ is Q. E. Sanders is on IR and K. Golladay is not very trustworthy right now.

I finally got a decent RB2 late in the season, but its S. Ware who is Q, of course.

Started both Keenan Allen and Tyreek Hill in two leagues.  One opponent flexed Damien Williams, and the other flexed Mike Williams.  And to top it all off, Mahomes decided that this would be a good week to have his worst game all year.  

#1 seed in both leagues, and I'm cooked...

Have Gordon. Picked up Ware several weeks ago just on a whim, passed on Justin Jackson at the time.  Someone else subsequently got him.

Then I was able to get Damien Williams a few weeks ago, but after Ware looked pretty good, I dropped him last week for Darrell, speculating that (a) Ware and/or Gordon would carry me through the playoffs and (b) Darrell sounded like a better/younger keeper prospect for 2019.

Tried to get Damien back this week after Ware got hurt, but of course I got sniped.

Funny thing is that semi-finals week for as long as I can remember have been about surviving not thriving and this year appears to be no different.

I am the 4 seed playing the 1 seed  (second and 3rd highest scoring teams in the regular season and last week in the quarters we were the only 2 teams to score over 100).

But both his team and my team have tough matchups across the board and are likely to wind up with scores in the low 80s.

Meanwhile the other side of the bracket features the 6 vs 7 after two upsets in the quarters.  Those 6 and 7 teams are horrible on paper but based on good matchups this week both of those teams will be in the 100s.

Playoffs all come down to luck of the draw.  I am better off playing the #1 seed then I would have been playing the 6 or 7.  On paper.

ETA - Ridiculous!  I averaged 105 ppg this year, my lowest score was 80.0.  My opponent averaged 103 ppg this year, his lowest scored was 78.0.

This week - I am leading 53.5 to 35.5 - I have McCaffery and Zeurlein remaining, he has Newton and DJ Moore.  If we both hit projections on remaining players I win 77.0 to 55.5.  That said, with my luck Newton and Moore have a magical night while Zeurlein and McCaffery are no shows and I am rightfully sent packing.  If not I will haave to hope this was a one week anomaly and I can go for my third consecutive championship next week.  Not counting on it.

I am quite literally in the exact same boat.  Rams DST stunk up the joint but at least I have a slightly larger cushion with which to dodge McCaffrey / Thomas on MNF.  41 points to be precise.  Should be enough although I'd be deeply worried if this was some kind of PPR format and not Standard.

Two leagues - both facing Newton and DJ Moore.  In one league I am up 31 but I have McCaffery left.  In the other league I am up 51 and done, he has those two plus Lutz left.  My gut feel is I am going to win matchup one and lose matchup two.  Matchup one has weird .5 ppr scoring where yardage points are down (for instance a qb has to throw/run for 250 for 3 pts, +1 each addl 25 yd, int = -1 and wr is 1 pt at 60/80/100 then 1 pt each addl 15 yards, .5 ppr). The other league is standard scoring an 1 ppr - so that 51 will evaporate quickly.

Played Ebron over Samuels at Tight End in a yahoo league that allows Samuels TE eligibility.  I was concerned that he doesn't get as much passing work, Ridley eats up some touches and I'm stuck with 10 touches for 40 yards.  Ebron's double Digit TD season--figured you had to feel good about starting him.  Will lose by 5, Samuels scored 18 vs<2 for Ebron.  Should have milked the RB at TE.
