Brand Lloyd Sell High? (1 Viewer)

I have him in all my leagues, but I'm worried about the future with Denver out of it will they start playing Tebow? I can' think that will help his numbers. You can probably move him for a pretty solid RB or QB now.

Tebow will be death to Lloyd. Sell high if you can.

Orton will not be benched this year...McDaniel would have to be insane to bench a guy that has been the bright spot (along with the receivers) of an extremely dim season.

Moreover, he doesn't want to get Tebow ruined out there - if you toss that kid in there now, he will be exposed for how much of a project he is. It's Orton's show the rest of the way.

has anyone dealt Lloyd during the last few weeks? what did you get? best case: what did you get in a PPR-dynasty?

I have him in two dynasty leagues - one I am contending, so he's going nowhere. The other, I'm terrible and would listen to deals. However, so far, he can't shake the "where has he been the last seven years" thing - the best I'm seeing is 2nd rounders and such. No chance I move him for that - I'd rather roll the dice and think he'll continue to do well with a good qb (which he's never really had before).

Unfortunately lots of owners still discount him on name value and draft position. Last week I couldn't even get Ryan Torrain for him. Probably could this week but I doubt he would bring much more.

The rise of Lloyd is different IMO than the rise of Britt or even to a lesser degree, a Steve Johnson. The latter two are younger guys, who have been given an opportunity and are running with it. Lloyd is a guy who is putting up great numbers, but he has failed so many times (I believe this is team #4), that a certain stigma surrounds him. Where I am going with this is that you may as well keep him, because I am not sure what you would get in return. Do you think someone would trade you Roddy White or Andre Johnson (talking redraft here) for Lloyd? Not really. In my PPR, Lloyd is #2, behind White and ahead of Nicks, Calvin and TO...besides maybe TO (and that is only due to his age and playing on the Bengals), I can't see how anyone would give you good value back. Maybe you could get a Jennings, Maclin or Austin-type in an even trade, but (1) at the momement, YOU are the one giving away the more productive player and (2) I still think there would be some owners (of those mentioned) that would not do the deal just based on name value alone (waiting for the shoe to drop, so to speak).

Tebow is not starting a game this season, barring injury to Orton.

Have you people seen how bad David Carr, Todd Collins, Trent Edwards, & Max Hall have played this year? Those guys are all FAR more ready to play QB than Tebow. The only reason we've even seen Tebow touch the field this year, is because he's the best RB on the Broncos.

Lloyd's value isn't going to change.
