16 carries for 57 yards and 1 catch for 1 yard against Pitt

13 carries for 54 yards, a td and 1 catch for 11 yards against Seattle

and 11 carries for 20 yards, a td and 4 catches for 23 yards against Jax

First off, all three of those defense are pretty dam good and he held his own against them, well maybe not JAX.

2nd these #'s show that he is getting alot of looks considering he has been out at halftime at the latest, could be a workhorse.

3rd. avg allittle over 3 yards a carry is nothing to write home to mom about but against those defenses in your rookie year it's nothing to be ashamed of either.

Yeah, I own him as my fourth rb in a dynasty league and I think he'll be the rookie rb this year with the most yards. I just don't see anyone else getting enough carries.

I also see him getting 7-8 td's.....I'm I loco or does anyone else agree with me?

You also have to remember that he's getting all of these looks because there are only 3 healthy GB running backs right now. Sure, I think he's looking decent for a rookie, but my enthusiasm is tempered. I traded Mike Vick for him about a month and a half ago, so as long as he doesn't go out and murder some dogs, I think I'm good.

You'll feel sorry come 2020, when Vick is reinstated, having become a model citizen.

I agree with you. I'll be happy to take him at RB3 or 4 in the later rounds... What round did you take him in?

You don't join the club in the tub. Brandon Jackson is healthy and making the most of his opportunity right now. He hasn't played great but you can do much worse.

I took him #4 in a dynasty rookie draft (after Peterson, Lynch and C. Johnson) and am pleasasntly surprised right now.

I've heard from too many people that Jackson has been ABYSMAL as a blocker. If he doesn't improve by leaps and bounds, he's not going to be the feature back regardless of his talents. This smells like RBBC all season long IMHO.

lot of that is the result of one day in training camp where he whiffed pretty badly on 3 blocks and got beaten, i think it was, 7 timeshe's willing and has done better in games. but that one day of practice on film is making it look a lot worse to the casual fan who, around here at least, takes it to the extreme negative and says he can't/won't block.

I don't see any reason to be too excited here, based purely on the stats. I have not yet seen him play - those of you who have - has he shown that little spark that says "look at me, I'm special"?Honestly, even Ron Dayne could have a 3 ypc against those defenses. Someone please tell me why he has promise, beyond being in the right place at the right time and having the right person hurt?Where is Morency, anyways?

I think he put the ball on the ground last night too. He has done absolutely nothing this preseason to get excited about.

I own Morency in a dynasty league - if he did not have the knee injury I think he would have held on to the job. In fact I had read reports that the other rookie Wynn was looking better than Jackson before he got injured too.

I think when Morency comes back it will be RBBC the whole year with the hot hand getting the majority of the carries each week. Right now Brandon Jackson's hand is just luke warm with everyone else injured.

guy has barely practiced :pics:"Wynn injured his quadriceps while running a routine play in practice on Aug. 7 and has been sidelined ever since. That injury came after he missed the first few days of training camp with a stomach virus."camp opened on the 28th of July. they have Wednesday off. by that count he got in appx 6 days of practice and hasn't been seen in 2 1/2 weeks. love to know where you heard he was looking better than anyone

Picked that up watching the Packers Camp special that has been on NFL network a couple of times. They were talking about Wynn and how much they liked him. But you are right I don't see where I would have read that - quick search and I could not find anything that backs up that statement.

during this past preseason game, jackson seemed to be effective picking up the blitz. granted, it's a small sample size, but the few times i watched for him, he did a solid job blocking.
