Following the release of Brandon Jacobs from the New York Giant's squad, rumours have fired up the possibility of him joining TNA.

It is said that TNA management are happy with his recent performances and the feud built up between him and Bully Ray. Should TNA and Jacobs reach an agreement, there is a feeling that a PPV match with Bully Ray could be planned.

I haven't heard anything other than this was a hobby and that that match would be a one time thing.

He's the rare NFL player that isn't under contract and can utilize that freakishly strong body to make some extra $.

I haven't heard anything about him stopping playing in the NFL.

Even if he takes a job as a backup on some team, he'll make a LOT more than a struggling wrestling promotion like TNA could give him. Jacobs' appearances on a wrestling show are purely gimmicky until dude retires.

I think Jacobs is getting the idea that no one wants him. He should have taken the $1.5M plus incentives that the Giants offered.

Another declining 30 year old with a big mouth gets reality check. i think portis finds a job before him.

Jacobs should have been thankful for a cotract offer from the gmen

Im surprised this cry baby is even considering wrestling, considering the fact that JPP was the original Giant that was supposed to wrestle but he backed out (Thank God). Jacobs is runs like a 190lb back 90% of the time and I'm hoping some other team offers him a deal, before he comes crawling back and begs the Giants for a contract.
