Brandon Marshall could miss a few weeks (1 Viewer)

Still no sign of Brandon Marshall out here at Miami Dolphins practice. He’ll show up on the injury report today, and it will be interesting to see how the Dolphins choose to classify him.

I don’t expect them to declare him out for Sunday’s game at Oakland. That’s just not how they roll. But no one should be surprised if Marshall misses not just this game but others down the road................

I am actually glad to hear he is out saves me from getting a 0 at one WR spot this week

I dropped him for M. Thomas.

It hurt but our rosters lock after this week so I needed a for sure playing WR.

Just saw on rotoworld: Marshall did not travel with the team. So he is officially out. Hope nobody planned on using the bum anyway.

I guess I am one of the bums that planned on using this guy.

Heard he is back at practice. I am keeping alive that he comes on strong down the stretch. The Dolphins host the Bills and Lions weeks 15 and 16. That gives Marshall a few weeks to get the hammy healthy and his head straight. I am hoping the Phins can get on a little roll these next few weeks to potentially inspire Marshall.

Miami Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall (hamstring) said he is feeling better, but the decision on whether he plays in Week 13 against the Cleveland Browns will come down to head coach Tony Sparano, according to The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero.

Analysis: Marshall's had over two weeks to recover since the injury in the Week 11 Thursday night game vs. Chicago. He looks like he's ready to go. Marshall was limited Wednesday and Thursday but reports indicate he participated quite a bit. Brian Hartline's snaps would decline sharply if Marshall is back.

How freak'n hard is it to just decide/say, "the dude is NOT playing this week so he can be a 100% and be in on every snap in week 14." It's as if these coaches and players don't know that there are millions of fantasy players waiting for some clear information from them. Damn them.

I wonder how much they would all lose if all of us fantasy football players went on strike next year. :(

- A bitter Marshall, BMW, Nicks and Floyd owner.

I am not that fortunate, however. If he is playing, he will most likely be in my lineup. If he can get healthy, the matchups week 15/16 are sweet.

Everything I've read said he's gonna play but will probably be limited.

He's gonna be on my bench again this week....I'm starting Obomano, DA or Blair White as my WR2&3 options over him.

hmmm. Not sure what I am gonna do here. If he's playing he should do well. Hell Henne's injury might help him (as he will rely on the trusted possession receiver-- similarly might bump bess/hartline) Would like to hear more + news though...

No way I trust this guy this week, and if anyone else on my team (DA, Obo, Crab, BMW..) steps up this week it will be very hard for me to trust Marshall when the money is on the line. What a bust of epic proportions.

 this guy broke the nfl record for catches less a year ago. And had what 10+ at least once this year? He's a little hurt and so is his qb(s) ;shrug: I for one won't be dropping him. If he plays, he prolly starts, sitting down denario alexander. No way is he 'a bust of epic proportions' mr hyperbole...

Agree to disagree.

2009 averages per game: 6.3 catches/70 yards

2010 averages per game: 5.8 catches/69 yards discounting game he left early due to injury.

if you drafted him expecting much else, that's on you. Cant predict tds, but I took him expecting a solid, reliable 12 points every week in my ppr, which is exactly where he was at pre injury.

Far from an epic bust.

For a player drafted as high as Marshall was to have only one TD and only two games with over 71 yds receiving going into week 13, "epic bust" is not an entirely inappropriate description.

Cant's Predict TDs is a valid week-to-week axiom. For comparing seasons, it's generally not so valid.

I now disagree to agree to disagree. This guy is a total bust. I have him in a .5 ppr league. He has only scored double digits TWICE.Is anyone counting on him in the playoffs?

In redraft, now that playoffs r here, he is this close to getting cut for someone with any value, BMarsh is a waste of space this year fantasy wise, no way around it.

Already cut Moss in Redraft, Marshall now....what a crazy year in fantasy football huh.
