Brandon Marshall with Cutler OUT? (1 Viewer)

i haven't heard mush except speculation that cutler MAY be out for the season, but it's probably safe to assume that he is at least out for Week 10.

how do people think marshall will due in Week 10 (and beyond) with ramsey starting?

broncos seemed to be reeling from an embarrassing loss to detroit

ramsey's first start in over a year, but at least he has NFL experience

henry has been injured and dealing with extracurricular "activities"

walker is out which leaves marshall as the #1 WR

marshall performed will in garbage time situation (9-96 with 0 TDs), but took some pretty big hits due to ramsey's inaccuracy

playing on the road @ Arrowhead is never easy

personally, i'm sitting marshall until i see what we've got and learn more about cutler's situation...

Actually I head Cutler may play this week. I will try to find a link.
Read that as well on a couple of MFL fantasy updatesEither way....in the game vs. the Lions, Marshall had like 18 targets :goodposting: (that was with Ramsey playing most of the game)

Wish I had that luxury, but with the final round of byes... Marshall sees the field for me this weekend. And this is based on no statistical data, and surely has a good shot of hope thrown in, but I think this may be the week he actually gets in the endzone again. Like I said, just a hunch.

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that early indications are that Jay Cutler has a good chance to play this week.

Schefter made sure to say it's early in the process, and Cutler still has a ways to go. But he's known as a tough guy and has recovered faster than expected since Sunday's injury.

well if Ramsey is the starter, if you look back at his days in DC, when he wasn't on his back during the Spurrier era, he tended to lock onto Coles. So maybe he'll do the same with Marshall...

If Marshall is your number 3 WR then I do not think you have to worry anyways.

Right now he is on pace for 90/1218/4

and Averaging almost 6/80/.25 per game.

Yes, these numbers could drop with Ramsey but probably not to much because Ramsey gets comfortable passing to his most dependable receivers, which Marshall has become for the Broncos.

Side note, I would actually expect his TD's to go up regardless of who is under center. Marshall is to good after the catch and he has come close to breeaking a few on his own already this year. The TD's will come.

how is KCs D in general and against #1s? Marshall is one i have to decide on this weekend as well. looks like Driver and company had a decent day in Arrowhead this past sunday..

I think Marshall has more value with Cutler out. Ramsey was going his way all the time ....now if i can just throw the ball in front of him instead of behind. Ramsey could get BM killed that way.

As mentioned, he had 18 targets with Ramsey in there for basically the whole game last week. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

According to Football Outsider's proprietary stats, KC is:#9 in total defense

#8 in pass defense

#11 against #1 WRs (which Marshall is the de factor #1 right now)

#25 against #2 WRs

#6 against other WRs

#28 against TEs

#4 against RB receivers

BMarsh went 9 for 96 with Ramsey, so maybe those numbers drop a bit, but all in all, those are pretty good numbers, especially in ppr.
