Here's a link to the video. At the end of the game, a New Mexico St player chucked the ball at a Utah Valley player. Fans got involved after they stormed the court.

I saw this and watched the link. I think "brawl" is a bit of an overstatement. And it looks like about 20 people of the 100 in attendance rushed the court.

The news seems to have overblown this thing.

Yeah, that's why I put it in quotes. I do think the guy throwing the ball at an opposing player while the clock expired was a bullsh## move.

I didn't mean to infer that you were calling it a brawl. It's funny, right after I typed that and hit Post, I thought, "Hmmm... That kind of makes it sound like I'm calling him out on the word brawl."

honestly, they should just shut down the WAC.

They should just banish rushing the court period.

Players aren't allowed to go into the stands. Fans shouldn't be on the court. Seems simple.

I mean, you win the whole a title, then yeah let people rush the court. But a hey a meaningless game "Wow, we beat the 18th ranked team" and there is no reason for you to be there.

You throw a punch as a player, you get suspended. You throw a punch as a fan, you get suspended from campus as well. Again seems simple. I just don't understand why the NCAA allows this practice to continue because frankly it is just a matter of time before something goes really bad.
