August 21, 2006, 18:10Browns :: WRWR Edwards May Play In Exhibition GameAP, ESPN.com - [Full Article]Browns WR Braylon Edwards may be on the verge of his exhibition debut. Returning to practice two months before doctors predicted following reconstructive knee surgery, Edwards has progressed to the point where HC Romeo Crennel is considering playing him in Cleveland's preseason game at Buffalo on Saturday. "We'll have to see how the practice week goes," Crennel said Monday. "If the week goes well and he is feeling good, we might have to give him one or two reps to see if he can move around against some different competition."

great news, but i doubt he does a whole lot, kinda like KW2, they'll work him in real easy.

i think it's time to grab this kid before everyone starts bumping him back up.

:goodposting: I hope he doesn't do a lot. I want to see him get a couple series, a catch or two, and get out.

His injury isn't the big deal. Who is throwing to him is the big deal.
wha??? Browns fan bias, but this is STUPID. Especially IF Bills stadium isn't nat. grass. (flashback to Jim Kelly's days and the nasty looking turf they had then)I'm sure Braylon *thinks* he's ready, but why risk it this early after the ACL for a WR??? QB I can deal w/ since they can just chuck the ball or fall down to avoid the contact.I did just grab BE in the 14th rd. As a CLE fan and now FF owner, I'll be pissed if he gets re-hurt in a meaningless game.

I may have to eat my words.

I considered him a fantasy persona non grata this season.

This is a case where I'd be happy to be wrong.

i was forced to keep him as my rookie keeper for this season. At this point, if i can get enough out of him for a WR/RB position (WR4) id be pretty darn happy.
