Thanks! I was not expecting to like Pittman based on some of the comments in the thread here, but I think he has a good chance to succeed in the NFL. I think that a common mistake that people make when evaluating prospects is assuming the negatives instead of seeing them. In other words, just because Pittman ran through a bunch of big holes at OSU and didn't need to run in tight spaces or move the pile, doesn't mean that he can't. Now of course it may be that if you watch a bunch of full game tape of him, maybe you see him struggle with that and this video just shows his wide open runs. But to assume that he won't be good at something in the NFL that we seldom see him do at the college level is a mistake. Maybe he will be bad at it in the NFL because he isn't a bruiser, but maybe he'll show a ton of grit and determination and turn out to be a great tight space back. The flip side is true as well. Don't assume that Reggie Bush is going to be a great tight space runner just because he's a great open space runner when you never see him in tight spaces on tape.
