Breaking: Greg Jennings Not Practicing Today (Tuesday) (1 Viewer)

I just can't see Jennings NOT PLAYING barring a major injury!

Thoughts?
I disagree. Since there is such a quick turnaround time I could definitely see Jennings missing Thurs game. 3 days isn't alot of time to recover from any sort of sprain or muscle pull. I hope I'm wrong but I'd look for other fantasy options this week.

Playing/Not playing isn't the issue. Effectiveness is the issue. I'd rather a player sit if they're only 60%. If Greg Jennings doesn't have burst in and out of breaks due to pain, then he will likely be ineffective. In FF, this is a worry from skill position players based on speed/acceleration/agility.

I realize this is only game 2, but Green Bay does not want to fall a full two games down on Chicago this year. Its as much of a must win game as there can be this early in the season.

I would bet that Jennings is playing.

This is the par-for-the-course usual GB-Chicago high-jinks. Last year it was Finley who was questionable. Then Finley went and caught 3 TDs.

I think the Bears will adjust for Finley (who killed them in the one warm game last year). Hence, Jennings or Nelson would be the play. But if Jennings doesn't play, I think the Bears can also tighten coverage on Nelson and make Cobb beat them.

Thoughts?

As a Jennings owner in one league, I would like him to sit out and get an extra week of rest. Groin injuries can linger.

But I don't think that's going to happen. The Packers are 0-1 and can't afford to lose to the Bears. Jennings plays unless the injury is much worse than anticipated.
