No, he doesn't have much left in the tank and he certainly can't throw out baserunners.

Very questionable signing. Kendall is one of the wrost regular catchers in MLB, if not the worst. He can't throw anybody out, and he has developed into a truly horrible hitter.
I reserve judgment on the trade for Mota, because the Brewers always seem to get something out of reclamation projects in the pen, but Kendall is just not a good regular. If you are the Brewers and you want a terrible hitting catcher, that is fine, because there is a ton of offensive pop in that lineup, but at least get a poor hitting catcher that is solid defensively behind the plate (i.e.Brad Ausmus, Mike Matheny).
