MLive.com believes the Lions may stash Brian Calhoun, a third-round pick in 2006, on injured reserve this upcoming season.

Detroit has let little be known about Calhoun's recovery from a torn ACL and continues to pursue additional running back help, setting up a visit with T.J. Duckett this weekend and trading for Tatum Bell.

this has been the rumor for a couple months now. nothing concrete has been released about clahouns recovery, and the additions of bell and duckett dont bode well for his 2007.
