Browns @ Ravens (1 Viewer)

Wow, where was the interference call? Lewis had a handful of jersey and got away with it. I hate to see games decided by bad calls (or non-calls).
the first replay they showed made it look like the ball was tipped at the line.I couldn't really tell if Lewis grabbed him or not.I bet the Browns and the over so that play killed me.

"He can complain all he wants about somebody hanging on, but he's got to make that catch" -Joe Theismannwhat an idiot. If he's interfered with, he's interfered with. Because it was Ray Lewis, because it was Ed Reed, he feels the need to knock Shea. Lewis obviously had a handful of jersey and could've easily been called on it.
or if we interperet the quote:Ed Reed and Ray Lewis can break the rules as long as the offensive player should still have made the catch.Theisman is worthless. Great run by reed though. TG this game didnt affect mine!

That's pretty much what he was saying, sort of like no harm-no foul. He still got his hand on the ball so he should've caught it.I'm usually very laid back in regards to the commentary, but that was ridiculous. One of the benefits for Lewis of getting mic'd up every other Sunday night for the ####ty ESPN game.

 Are you serious? There was a very clear replay showing Lewis grabbing a giant fist full of jersey and hanging on to it.The phrase that came to my mind was by Rodney Dangerfield in Easy Money "Look at him, he thinks he's water skiing!"

I must have missed that angle. The one I remember seeing wasn't very clear at all, or else they just didn't slow it down enough.

Gotta thank Ed for being so selfish and wanting to take it to the house when all he had to do was take a knee 197 yards from the endzone.

You missed it he had a handful. Granted the catch could have been made but, I'll be suprised if the Browns don't send the tape of that play to the league office. It's probably sour grapes from a Browns fan but, I thought that was blatant enough to be called. The Browns may still not have gotten in to tie the game or lost in OT but, that was a poor no call.My remaining satisfaction for the year will be watching the Ravens not advance in the playoffs with possibly the worst starting QB in the NFL. Even when Heap and Ogden and Bouleware come back their offense is still just horrible. The Browns again showed the NFL how to defense the Ravens and Jamal Lewis.I'd expect more teams to load the box like the Browns did until Boller shows he can burn teams for it.Please fire Butch soon too.

sure...missing 3 Pro Bowl players for a total of 17 1/2 games will have no effect on the play on the field...genieus!Brownies have now held JLewis to 650 yds in the last 4 games---moving in the right direction, as he olny ran for 150 in 2 games w/o a HoF LT in the game this seasonBoller played 4 games in this strech w/1 receiver from last years' team---a back up TE, for crying out loud! Every week there has been a different combination of WR's (TTaylor/KJ...then Hymes, now Moore w/TT)...all the time w/last years leading receiver(Heap) on the sideline...like him or not, his record as a starter is 11-6(.647), as the 2nd youngest starting QB in the leaguedon't think a superior TE makes a difference in a game...ask Rattay how important a solid TE is..or Trent Green....Drew Brees is ready to buy Antonio Gates a beach front condo where ever he wants!look....injuries---penalties/missed calls and the like all have a bearing on the games and how each team deals w/them determines their fateWe're 5-3 at the turn, and getting healthier every week...I just ask we stay that way, so that we can see the actual potential of this team, not missing up to 6 starters as we did 1 week earlier in the seasonand for all you boo birds out there thay can't stand watching the Ravens in prime time...you only have to sit thru it once more, as the world sees how human Mr Manning is out there in INDY on 12/19

That is what it looked like to me but since no one else mentioned it I thought it was simply my "homervision". If it was tipped at the line then there is no interferrence, regardless of how successful Ray Lewis was at grabbing the receiver. However, no one else is explaing the play this way and I didn't see an official make the tipped ball motion so I have doubts that was the call last night.
