Thomas has been primarily a 3-4 OLB since the beginning of 2006.
He's not been able to get in much of a pass rush groove this season (neither has Hobson) and there's always the cynical concern that he's no longer playing for a contract and less motivated to perform. He really doesn't have much value except in relatively deep big play leagues.
